Should I buy this pup?

I was going to buy a male puppy from with this pedigree:

ONLINE PEDIGREES :: [207018] :: ALI & ARVENA BREEDING

But I noticed the puppy is inbred, the sire is the dams sire. I have no access to the puppy as it will be shipped to me from another country. Should I go ahead and buy it? How does it's pedigree look.

Agreed if that's your flavor by all means go for it if you know about the parents and shit otherwie i would find something off of someone i knew that way you know what your getting but me personally wouldnt touch those just me

I cannot speak to the peds, but as far as inbreeding goes - it can be good or bad Anabolic. What inbreeding does is it tightens up the genes in the offspring which can enhance traits - both good and bad. If you have an amazing bitch and breed her back to her father you can enhance and bring out their good traits even more in the pups, if you have a not so great dog you can make pups that are a huge genetic mess.

So if you got good dogs you can fix some potential flaws and control and enhance.... if you got average or bad dogs.... could be in for trouble.

Example:



"An intensive form of linebreeding where an individual with highly desirable traits(S) is mated to his daughter(D1) and daughter's daughter(D2) and so on, in order to maximise the percentage of S's genes in the offsprings. The D3 offspring would have 87.5% of his genes while D4 offspring would have 93.75%. Such breeding methods can be used to create a "near clone" of a desirable individual."

 

Why would you go out of country for that blood? There is a ton of good working stock down from that over here. Look for some stuff down from simba/biscuit stock if that is more what you are wanting.

I'm not from the US and we only have one breeder in my country for APBTs, the rest are backyard breeders.

 

Where are you from? I doubt you only have one reputable breeder in your whole country, you probably just don't know where to look or who to talk to. The best breeders are not out there putting up advertisements, it takes time, effort, and doing the right research to find them. After you find them comes the step of proving to them you are a respectful and responsible person that they would want to give or sell a pup (or adult) to.

If you don't know about them, you may not be ready to get a pup of the caliber they are selling, but it doesn't mean they don't exist.

Right on. If you're gonna import your dog, and you want that blood, why not import it from TG. Plus, I promise you they're are good dogs in europe. You just haven't found them. But as far as the original ??? , I got one that's father to daughter breeding and I love her. Got a male who's parents are brother and sister, their parents were brother and sister, and their parents were half brother and sister. Ain't nothing wrong with him. He ain't my favorite, but he's all there upstairs. Ain't no retard or nothin.

To the rest, the breeder of this dog is here known as Speed, owner of Chinaman Junior, if it matters to anyone's opinion about the dog. I do not say this in a positive or negative way, I just say it. It is the same kennel where Franzi got some of her dogs from.
About TG I heard about many happy people in this board but I also heard about the other side of the coin. So, Anabolic as you might already know there are no guaranties for anything in this life, it is up to you to take a decision. The only way to be sure is to purchase a grown up dog.
