Events: American Pit Bull Terrier Conformation, Puppy Treadmill Race, Adult Treadmill Race, and Hang Time

In addition to regular conformation classes, we will have the following fun classes: Judge’s Choice, Best Shaped, Junior Handler (0-6 years old and 7 years old and over), Best Red Nose Dog, Best Brindle Dog, Best Blue Dog, and Best Bully Dog.

PLEASE BRING AN ITEM TO DONATE TO THE AUCTION. ITEMS DO NOT HAVE TO BE DOG RELATED.

Tractor Supply and Sportsmix have donated dog and cat food for our auction!

Registration will be from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. and show will start at 11:00 A.M.

Fun classes and working event entry fees are $6.00

Conformation class entry fees are $10.00

A full concession stand will be available.

NO Drugs or Alcohol - NO FACING OFF OF DOGS - NO DISCUSSION OF ILLEGAL ACTS
Each dog must be in good health - Each dog must have their own crate – One dog per crate- Dogs should only be out of their crate when showing or to potty
All dogs must be on 4 ft lead - All dogs must have buckle collar - Dogs must not be tied out in any way
No females in heat - No Human aggressive dogs - No dog aggressive Humans

BRING YOUR OWN SHADE, CHAIRS, WATER AND WATER BOWLS FOR YOUR DOGS

ill try to make it, will they have a problem with me bringing a 2month puppy with me just to watch?

 

No, but the pup must be in a crate. All dogs are required to be crated when not in the show ring or out to potty. You could enter the pup in a fun class if you'd like.

 

How far is New Market from Bham?

 

its basicly huntsville down winchester road but i dont know how far away the event is from winchester road

 

where is coleman road

 

The event is probably about 2.5 hours from Birmingham.

You'll pass Buckhorn High School coming down Winchester road. Coleman road is on the left hand side right beside a Chevron. There will be a sign that says "Dog Show".

 

you can show un-papered and/or neutered dogs in the fun shows?

 

yes you can. matter of fact a few years ago i took home Best conditioned w/ a neutered dog.
very nice facility, and a great host club. everyone in the ~area~ should atleast check it out

sounds good...how far is the show from memphis,tn?..i have been to the tba and vsba shows...but not to the bama ones..would like to come if not to far to drive....i dont wanna waste my time if the judge is best buds with some dogs being shown....politics!!!....ive already been down that road..

 

It's about half an hour east of Huntsville, so it would be 3.5-4hours from memphis

 

Our judge for this show is going to be Mary Taylor. We try our best to pick judges that will be fair and judge the dogs based on the conformation standard (not the handler).
