I hear ya but really not a unfair price considering your paying for his life's work. I have seen much higher for proven ,unproven etc

Really ? According to Louis they haven't seen a pie-bald in a long long time. They use to have them but it is very uncommon now as to how they use to be. I dont know what Jack has on his yard but I know what Lou has on his and I know he dont have any pie-balds.

Nice cross, Blitzen was a solid dog and Molly was pretty nice too. I would gladly feed anything straight off of Blitzen.

After thinking about this for a spell....if im not mistaken, I do believe LadyRampage has a pie-bald on her yard.

  6. I stand corrected, after doing a little more research I guess what I thought was pie-bald and what it really is are slightly different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piebald

When I said they exist on Colby Yards today - it was more in reference to the original posters question, "Where have all the "old time" looking Colby dogs gone - the ones that looked like Pincher, Joker, etc.?"

    ColbyDogs,

Thanks for the info. I have owned this breed for for over 35 years and this particular dog is the best friend I have ever had (bar none). At least as far as a family dog and loyal companion goes. He really is one of those "once in a life" time dogs without a doubt.
