My friend has man biters I'm terrified of these dogs as they look crazy...I have 13 apbt most of them are from joanie winchester.. and none of my dogs even bark at people they could probally be stolen pretty easily...should I get rid of these man eaters? Or should my friend keep feeding them?

I don't like man biters..I don't see them ever being worth anything to me I'm in upstate new york and its already hard enough to own a apbt then you have these man biters and they give our dogs a bad name ill make sure these 4 dogs are put down ill just give him a good pup hopefully this changes his mind.

Has your friend ever been to see your dogs to understand the difference? Maybe a little education as to why owning/breeding/selling man biters would help sway him in the right direction?

Point out the risks to any kids or adults that may come across one of his dogs, the potential for a huge lawsuit if someone was bit by his dogs... not to mention the risk he takes everyday by feeding them

Honestly in this day and age there is no excuse for a man biter to be around..NONE.

There actually isn't much you can do but give him your opinion then its on him. Make sure that you be clear with him that he doesn't ever need to bring his manbiter around you or your family.

I thought man eaters were suppose to be put down asap..I've been to many kennels and have always been able to walk up to any dog on the yard with out fear of being bit.

No way. how could someone wash the dog down if they were man biters?
It is not a game dog trait.

While there were manfighters that were gamedogs and turned out to be pretty famous gamedogs at that, It does not justify keeping them around.

The dogs need to be put down and they need to be put down fast.

Just cause the dog is a little human aggressive doesnt mean he is a raving maniac im told Gr.Ch. Zebo would attack you for his original owner, Ch.Yellow john 4xw ROM got put down for biting his owners son in the face hell ill even admit i owned one that was home protection train and very aggressive could punk you out with a look and he showed game. Even though i never seen him act up i was told by Ch. Paz jr's original owner that he didnt like just anyone lol liked me just fine and the gamest dog i have ever been around named lilttleman 2xw 1gl who was owned by someone on this board i watched give a warning growl to a girl trying to pet him they arent machines and sooner or later alot find someone they just dont like lol. I also seen a certain dogman i know almost get bit in the box by a dog we were told would bite and if he wants to comment on that its on him and that dog was handled by an old time dogman.

That is not the right frame of mind for a good bulldog, People can and often do make excuses for a dogs unstable mind...But bottom line is if your dog makes any passes at people and it happens on a regular basis then the dog needs to be put down.

all one of mine would have to do is look funny at someone and it would be off with his head dont breed man biters and dang sure dont keep them no matter how good they are in other areas

Imo man biters and curs are equally poor dogs.

Well there are some instances where the dog isn't a true manfighter.

But if the dog is truly human aggressive then there is no excuse for it.

I meant to add to my post. We have kennel accidents, what if a man biter were to get lose and came across a child. All the gameness and ability in the world is not worth the risk.
    Never acceptable.
