For you fellas that live up north . I live in La and we got some arctic air, its suppose to not even barely get out the 30 's tomorrow and it even aint that cold compare to yall up north. i have 3 dogs but they stay inside. i have a big ol field behind my house i just went outside with em and i tell you what, i dunno how yall do it with 5 and ten dogs at a time outsdie

I was thinking along the same lines. Cold air makes you hesitate going outside. They have cold to deal with we have the heat and humidity.

I will have to admit they must be some dilligent owners to make it in those extremes. It must be even harder for our friends in Canada. I have noticed this cold air shortens my walks.

Yeah it gets cold, but when you've lived up north your whole life, your body gets used to it. Hell, it was 22 degrees the other day and i walked for about and hour and half. The dogs get used to it as well, as long as they're in good health.

Yep, we have 8 degree wind chill factors going on here in North La.
Checked on my mutts twice last night and they are good. I wrapped thier dog houses in Linoleum remnants that I picked up yesterday and gave them all doors on the front of the dog houses and made sure they were not facing the wind. Fresh added hay. They looked at me like, WTF?
