If its not an opinion shared by more than one dogman with clout all of which said, "thats the best ever", or the dog isn't a dbl gr ch or ch with 10+ W's even if not with a L .. if the dog goes on to win continuoulsy afterward up into the 10's and near 20 Ws.. .. not many dogs can do that.. So anything other than proof or popular opinion by those great men all but passed on now; would be simple opinion.

 

..... but it is an opinion,but you do not tell the real opinion, and total,,,,he to whom you refer Simple is a cunning adversary,,,, and we know how this people began to make matches to make a ch/gr ch/and 2xgr ch...

(4x Ch Chinaman)...There, someone had to say it lol. Let me ask a question. There was a 9x winner that also one won 2 more uncontracted matches by he name of Snakemans Pedro. Im not saying he was the best...but with a recoed like that he was no slouch. Just curious to everyones opinion on Pedro.

 

Pedro was a very good dog.Back in the late 80's a lot of dogmen wanted to breed to Pedro and did.Pedro's pups where in high demand at that time.

 

I'm not that smart I guess .Because I don't get what you are saying .So you are saying Floyd was/is a bad dogman or what? For who is the best of all time,we will never be able to get an answer because they can't go into each other,different weights,different eras, and a lot of other reasons.Its just a opionon of who is the best and everyone has their own reasons why they say a dog is the best.I can tell you this a dog that has quit(not in shock) won't be on any decent dog person's list.

 

Well, I have a TG pup out of Crocodile/Miss Crocodile breeding. (Chinaman/Spike) blood. Spike blood is down through (Little Gator ROM) I've read alot of speculation that 9X Snakemans Pedro really Sired Little Gator and not Gr Ch Spike. Honestly...I do not care which actually did and I will never really know. All I can do is go by what pedigree and TG says. Pedro was on his yard at that time so I understand. But why hang a paper between Spike and Pedro? They are both world class. If it was between Spike and a not so great bulldawg I would understand it better. But not between those two. No gain seen for me. I'd be happy with Pedro or Spike. Fat Bill is the man who started this rumor so I read. Any one with any input? Here's my pups ped. I guess my friend u read Lemms last book the Dime Novel.Bob wasted his time writing that book.
It sounds like from your statements that u read the articles written by Lemm and Mayfield when they was argueing every month in the mags.I said to Bob the last time I talked with him that if he hated Mayfield and Hall so much why not just go over there and settle it man to man.I nstead of repeating what Bob said why not say what u mean my friend?Like I said we can't say which dog is or was the best ever because of a lot of reasons .All you can say is certain dogs was the best at their weight at the time they competed and even then sometimes top dogs didn't go into each other for a lot of reasons.Again its just our opionons who was the best.
