Ok brokenbread what your point,in asking those question...If you wanna know the truth just pick up a book there are a lots out there to read .What it sound like to me, is that you go by what others have said.Which I dought, has really experiance either.Best thing I can tell you is to find out for yourself and stop listen to ppl that don't know what they are talking about.Research it for yourself....Now the reason I say and say all this, is because of your questions they sound like they come from someone has a hidden agenda.JMO

  5. This post was created because of others saying I DON'T KNOW what i'm talking about when I clearly do because of the research I did at PBC(heh), anyways, people seemed to know what they were talking about, from pit bull forum too. The reason for the post was a wakeup call that dogmen were all pieces of shit and didn't give a f*** about there dog. When in fact, they did.

Think of the most cruel thing u can ever do to a living creature. Chances are its been done before. SICK people exist and we must accept it. Brightside is they are a minority, as I so firmly believe that humans are for the most, part kind creatures.

There is a reason why you heard of things like this happening, its because there were those sick but few people who did it ....

There are some out there who don't know what is true and what is fiction with the dog fighting world. they don't know anything but what they can find in print or on the net and unfortunately they come accross the horror stories hsus and peta spread around about dogfighters.
and some of those people do the things they read about and create real life horror stories as a result.
where does the cruelty stem from? the kids who don't know anything but the propagands being spread or the fair matches and best care the real dogmen give to thier dogs?

  11. A dog is prepared much in the same way a person is prepared for boxing. You don't take a young kid and throw him in a ring with an experienced bigger boxer his first time and expect that person to do well much less like to go on boxing.
First a person must be healthy and strong with excersize and good diet. Same with a dog if you expect it to show what qualities it may have, it should be in good physical shape (not conditioned but not like a man that's spent the last 5 years on the couch in front of a tv munching junk food either).
Then a person learns the different techniques of boxing, the stance, balance, defense and offense. A person will spar a number of times with opponents much like himself wearing good protection in order to learn to apply those techniques during a boxing match. This same thing is applied to a dog, it's called schooling and has the same purpose as training in a gym does to a boxer, to teach technique and build self-confidence.
What is called in here a Jenny is really called a Catmill for dogs. A Jenny refers to the "merry-go-round" that is used to excerisize horses and they used a female mule to get them to walk around and they called that mule a jenny. But the name of the aparatus is a catmill. And yes, you can use a live animal in a cage to have the dog chase it and LEARN to use the catmill, some just put a raccoon hat in there and that works just as well or even hang an empty plastic milk jug...etc. But once the dog is trained to work the catmill none of those things are necessary any longer and the dog is NEVER allowed to get a hold of the caged animal. A cat will in fact enjoy it and even falls asleep while going round and round lol.
There is absolutey NO WAY any dog can ever be electrocuted, given a shot or anything during a match. If the handler touches anything from outside the pit he is disqualified. If the dog stops at any time then the fight is over and that dog has lost, period.
Steroids are used in dogs much the same way they are used by people today, even though neither will usually admit to doing it the fact is they are used and they do give an advantage when used PROPERLY.

A true dogman will take the BEST care of his dogs since their future and his reputation will depend on them. They are kept in good physical shape (not fat and lazy like most of the "pets" are kept). They receive proper excersize on a regular basis and they are fed the best diets possible in order to allow the dog to develop the best it can since as I said before, the dogs future and the breeders reputation will ride on said dog. After a match a dog will receive the best medical care possible,, many time much better than a veterinarian can give and certainly alot better than you will ever receive from your HMO that's for sure.

These things that were posted are all just more of the deceiving lies and made up stories that the humaniacs put out to make what they do (which is nothing less than killing as many dogs as they can) seem ok to other folks who don't know better. And the worst part of all of this is that many newcomers to the dogs will read that crap and actually believe it's done or that it works and so the lies and stories become truth in the end.

In the words of the late Don Mayfield, "they want to tell me how and when I can kill my dogs but they don't want me to tell them how and when to kill their dogs,,, and they have killed alot more dogs than I have."

  12. And if you're not on the up and up on the proper ways to utilize them, then you're sitting on the sidelines or you're taking yours home in a bag.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned putting gun powder in their food to make them mean. WTF You know the humaniacs come up with a lot of propaganda.....I just wonder how many idiots tried these things after reading their lies.

  15. Thanks gringo, exactly how I thought it was, almost exactly like boxing. I appreciate the post.

Heard of steroids being used but more modern day,
the rest is just lies from humainiac societys , some of which may have given the ideas to sickos , therfore becoming self fulfilling prophesies
none of the above used by serious dogmen anywhere west of cuckoo land

How is it not a dirty buisness? It gives an unfair advantage hense why they are not allowed in professional sports. The fact of the steriord issue is this, you are no longer showing natural strength or wind due to the enhansing nature of steriods. It's cheating plain and simple....Just like filing a dogs teeth is cheating or using a rub is cheating. It gives the dog an advantage over a dog that is brought in the right way (the right way being the way it was ment to be). How can one use steriods and say, "I have the best"? IMO, you can't.

I had a friend that used to be like, "yeah fool, before a pit goes into a fight, feed it gunpowder. Tha'll make him crazier."

We weren't or are dogfighters but I would tell him "I think that will just make them sick". Imagine eating gunpowder. Ridiculous IMO.

perhaps the thought behind the gunpowder is that it would cross the square like a "SHOT"..........:D:D:D ....hahaha...i crack myself up...ahahahafuckinghahaha:p:cool:.....

    Some yes. Some no.

    1. I can't remember who it was, but he would use a stray cat tied up by its hind legs and let a dog hit it until it died. I'm sure many more used something along those lines.

    2. Yes. A jenny mill. Small animal on one end the dog would chase.

    3. I dunno. I can't think of any specific instances. Seems like a great way to kill a dog, though.

    4. Some used.

Why must people pretend dogmen of the past were Godsends to the sport? There were some good dogmen. There were some bad dogmen. And then there were some good dogmen that did bad things.
