Im trying to learn how to research peds better I really like this dog

Now how would u label his blood line what would it be called and why i want to learn how u researched it thanks in advance

 

carver/eli cause the dogs go back to carver/eli breedings.

I was goin to say Eli but again i don't know shit bout it... lol thought I was wrong because i just went off the 4/5 gen cuz i didn't recognize any of the newer dogs.

im no expert either but mccool bred carver dogs. n. hooten ran carver bred dogs. so it looks at a quick glance to be about 3/4 carver 1/4 eli.

 

So would really have to know the name of the breeder and the blood he ran with ok I knew the mccool part where does the eli come in

 

nevermind figured the eli out in the 4th generation

 

Just the 4/5 gen you could call it a kemmer/mccool breeding. kemmer bred eli dogs, mccool bred carver dogs.

 

I never herd anyone say Kemmer blood. so figured that was too easy to say that. but I got it.

Im no expert but i look at the dogs in the fourth generation and see what they come from and do the math from there.. You also have to look at what dogs they were linebred or inbred off if they were to see what you would call that line.. But once again, I am no expert, so take what i say with a grain of salt..

theres lots of info on this bb as to where alot of the dogmen got there dogs and some whos, whats, and hows.
When i first got into the dogs it all sounded chinese to me, still does when i hear someone who knows there shit down pat.

if you look back in the ped you can see that the eli/carver cross has been going on for a long time.

 

Eli / Carver, heavy on the Carver

 

I'm no expert either but I came up with the same thing as inter-Tel. I look for common names and then see if I can figure out how those are connected and through who.

 

Yea, I was more so talkin to the Original poster and vic, but it did take me a long time to figure that out...lol
