but thats exactly what they did with him bred him a number of times but nothing showed the same as their farther but thats what happens when you breed dogs with no history behind them, yeah sometimes you can get a good one but it way more of risk than breeding two well bred cold dogs
    take how you wish
but he might have came from two curs byb'd by some tough guy
    wanting to look hard
and this one pup just happened to be a beast
but what good traits are in his foundation
    you dont know
so by breeding him you could just be
comprimising your line of well bred dogs with bad traits Or lack of gameness

Well you shouldnt be compromising your line if you dont breed his offspring back into your shit.. If they dont turn out , you cull 'em.. Plain and Simple

Breeding is a gamble no matter how you slice it. but with a dog like that you take your cahnces. you don't pass that up. An like CL said you don't breed the offspring back to your shit. It would have been a science experament. I would have ran him to bitches form different blood lines tryin to find what work..... You don't not breed a dog like that. that would be stupid. JMO

I agree...the adage 'good dogs are where you find' em is true. a lot of dogs with unknown lineage have blown the game wide open throughout the history of the fancy.
no guarantees either way as Victor says, I would have bred to Him and 'Angel' that slim talks of with their records somethings gonna come out....how about '35' and 'Angel' I would take a pup all day long!:) if I had a pup from that I would call it '35/75'

yall can have your science projects and hopes id rather take a dog with history on him/her and begine there
everybody talking papers dont make the dog
this is true but it shure tells you how the dog was made and if its a good one you will know how to keep the recipe going in the right direction
and yeah good dogs are where you find them
but the good dogs i find have a foundation to build on
like I say Id breed a cold registered one before
    One like thirtyfive

just cost to much time and money to take a chance on something I know nothing about
