What is important is maintaining a dialog of ALL viewpoints. Each person has a choice to do something to maintain the breed. The important thing is we stick together when it comes to protecting our breed of choice. How to do it best is up to an individual. Some of us can and will unite with the bully people to have an organized fight against HSUS, BSL, etc. Others who can't stomach that are best suited to serving in other venues, and are not less valued or needed; maybe through donations, responsible breeding, educating others, etc.. . The important thing is to allow all viewpoints to be heard and valued; if everyone contributes in anyway they can, and at the same time don't undermine other's efforts, we will succeed. It is not a clear cut case of if you aren't with me 100% then you are against me; we are different.

Remember, this is the internet; tone, language, culture, upbringing, education etc. all contribute to the lenses through which view each other and the world. I have a different set of values and experiences that have shaped my opinions. That is why I'm here. I DON'T know everything. I learn more from people I disagree with because my experiences are limited. When we have communication, we all learn new ways of viewing an issue and even if we don't agree. We develop a better understanding of our own views and how we interpret our personal experiences.

Sir...you do you. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Some people are very close minded. You can't change them and their personal opinions, they have to do it themselves. Fighting BSL is an all around effort. Those who love the breed and have the passion like you have, will do what it takes to save our breed. Forming alliances are a must, in war time. The reality is we are at war everyday, when it comes to fighting for our rights of ownership. BSL is just the icing that comes with that cake. But, you can't have your cake and eat it too, if your not willing to stay open minded and keep on fighting the fight.

Keep representing the breed the best you know how sir. Let them know that their are gamebred owner out there, that are willing to save the breed we love, if we can get the respect and co operations from bully owners around the country.

 

You guys should thank me for what I try to do for this breed instead of flying off the handle...

 

I know I'm just one person but I have shared my appreceation for you and this site Marty. Thanks to you and alot of the wonderful members I can educate others offline about this breed and the positive side that the media forgets to mention just about every time they speak of a apbt.

It was a good show. PEOPLE can say what they want but that was nice.

 

that was interesting? they got to some questions. but i think the host likes to hear himself talk...jmo..and michelle chavez was more concerened with what was going on on in the chat room...

 

I think this was a very good idea to be involved Marty. Spreads the word about what we are about. Awareness usually is a good thing - all you can ask for really.

 

Thats what happens on Internet radio shows they interact with chat room.

 

I was pleasantly surprised...I enjoyed listening in. Really a nice change from what I am used to hearing from some folks in the bully crowd....kudos to them.

 

With some time and preperation i think g-d's can come together and get some really good questions to ask next time. But, its their show, so they control the pace of the show. But, Imo it's not bad, but not all that great either..lacks content and organization...Time managment can be better.
