I am curious about what their perspective on human-wariness is, or redirection onto humans, etc. I've met some pretty high-strung, dog-reactive Bullies that I sure didn't trust to grab with my hands in the heat of the moment, and on several breeder websites they tout the dogs are having good guarding abilities (not sure they can exactly outdo a Malinois or GSD, but ooookay) or outright "not friendly" with strangers and totally "badass."

I'm not sure if that's because they mixed other, guardian breeds in to get that "look," or if it's because they are breeding for only one trait (appearance) and nothing else. But it seems odd that there is no "united front" for how they want these dogs to act, or really, how they want them to look.

That's a really long question. It's sort of like the one with the breed standard, but more about temperament standards.

I'd like to know why they want them so stubby legged and fatheaded.Better yet,what did they breed in there to make them look that way?I've heard that bullies might have mastiff blood but their not short,so is there any english bulldog blood in there too?

I don't care about what why and how. What I am interested to know is... Community out reach programs. I'm not talking about "shows". I'm talking about ppl adressing the problematic issues that their communities are plaqed with. Iresposible owners, neglect and basic dumbass shit.


When it comes down the pike, the politicians will not differenciate between the APBT and the Bully.
