Im originally from the UK , So I know a little bit about the dogs on that side of the pond.

 

No, im from further south, no bans down here thankfully, the city councils are starting to bring in there own version of BSL though, no "dangerous breeds" allowed in council housing, thankfully I have my own place

 

have one shipped from Europe, if don't find what you want overthere.

I know what you mean ,all the good stuff is kept in a tight knit group. Even more so since the BBC thing. USA is the place to get good blood shiped to Ireland IMO just the cost to think about.
Ive also been looking into the balken dogs for a while and i think they are on their way up:rolleyes:

 

You should check out Farmers boy line but there based in the north, if you dig deep enough and dont rush in you can get your self a well bred dog
