Great Shots Lisa!!! I love me some Tempest...I thought Schutzhund had been changed to VPG (in German - Vielseitigkeitspruefung für Gebrauchshunde) which roughly translates into 'versatility test for working dogs. Or same difference. I guess, it depends on who you're talking to. Your girl Crush is looking mighty fine there too...:)

This may sound stupid but...is that a prong collar I see and is it.....is it....actually up on the dog's neck?! I am officially thrilled for the day :D
But they are looking very good out there

yeah it's a small prong collar, it's on a tight fit and that's why it is high on the neck. Most people who use prongs, use to big of a prong and it's fit is too lose to make a real difference when the dog is cranked up like that. We are working the bark and hold and with the tighter prong I don't have to give as hard of a correction. It was a prong or use the remote collar. This dog is already collar smart (on the remote) and I want to try and avoid using a remote if at all possible. I am not opposed using one but if you have a dog that is already collar smart it ruins the point of using the collar at a distance.
I hope that give a brief explanation of the collar choice. ;)

Lol I'm fine with the collar choice, but a pet peeve of mine is people with prong collars on the wrong part of a dog's neck (i.e. the base of it). Just happy to see someone using it as it's supposed to be used, which is high up on the dog's neck. Personally, I'll take a prong collar over a head halter or a remote collar any day
