Sugar update

She is fat and happy! When we got her she weighed 23lbs now she is a porkly 44lbs. She is now eating normal meals just like the rest of the dogs. She has some dental work that needs to get done but as soon as the court gives her custody to us we will put her up for adoption.

When I first saw the old pic of her I thought for sure that dog wasn't going to make it.Looks like a different dog now though.

 

For those of you that wanted to get updates.... Sugar's owner was granted a continuance on the trial but after telling her she is paying boarding for all 28 dogs she decided to release them into the county's custody. We now have custody of her and she is up for adoption. She needs someone that will treat her like a princess and has another dog to play with. I don't know how much more my Boston can take They roll around and play all day. when the owner goes to court I will release what happened in the case.

 

Performanceknls, you sure have a heart of gold. She looks like a completely different dog. Good job with her and good luck adopting her out....

she's looking wonderful. a far cry from how she came to ya'll. that dog definitely has some angels looking out for her. i hope she finds all the happiness she deserves with a loving family.

 

I wonder how the former owners of that dog would like to not eat till they are emaciated like that. People piss me off. You did a great job with that dog and hopefully those people who did that get what they deserve.
