Other breeds you enjoy?

Also I've noticed that I don't care much for other "bully" breeds like AmStaffs/Staffy/etc. I've always considered them the knock offs of the dog world as far as the APBT goes.

if i had to get another dog it would probably be a boxer... i love their energy levels and eagerness to please. i have a boxer/pit and he is the best. i just love my pitties though. i cant get enough of them! my boyfriend wants to get some hunting dogs once we get our own place with some land... he talks about beagles and catahoulas and maybe a feist. :rolleyes:

 

What does he hunt? My uncle breeds Treeing Feists, love love LOVE them little dogs.

 

squirrels, rabbits, deer... thats the majority of it but he says he would love some dogs to hog hunt with and some to chase rabbits and squirrels as well. i told him he should have taught our pits to be catch dogs when they were younger and our bitch at least would have been perfect for the job!

I like the working dogs so GSDs, Rotts, Malanois and pretty much anything with a drive and a good attitude works for me

 

I FELL THE SAME WAY THEY ARE THE COMPLETE DOG AQND THE ONLY DOG WE NEED NOW AM I BLIND AS WELL ?

 

You gotta get him to hunt squirrel with some good Feists...nothing like it!

 

A Border Collie or Malinois from working stock...I like the crazies

 

I have some really good pics of them, they're really cool dogs both in looks and working ability. I'll post some pics a little later.

 

I am actually looking for a second dog and would like some recomendations. The insurance company said the first APBT was no rate increase but if we get another it will go up. I was origionally looking at a patterdale terrier but my wife wants a large dog, a female and one that does not drool. The Malinois is a good looking dog does anyone have experience with them or another possible suggestion. Thanks

 

Cane corso. When my current guard dog goes. THAT will be my next purchase.

 

Malinois are really drivey and energetic dogs, but not really what you'd consider large. But they are good dogs if you have the time to mess around

 

I've always liked SBT, Boxers, Bull Mastiffs, and Belgin Malanois.... But over the past couple of years I have takin a likin to ISBTAffrican Boerboel,....... Oh and can't forget Patterdales. Bad ass lil dogs!!!.

With that being said.... Everything the listed dogs above can do the APBT does better :p.

I deffinatly have the time. I agree with Victor22 I love the boerboels, but if it drools which I bet it does she probably won't like it.
