    Toney wasn't sired by Searcy Jeff. Therefore this pedigree is wrong.

    I don't believe there is such a thing as a Wallace dog nowadays. From my understanding, he had them all put to sleep shortly before his death.

    When Mr. Wallaces was older he cut his yard back significantly. The people he had sold his dogs to outcrossed them. As fate would have it the last few pure Wallaces dogs died within days of each other, i believe. I think after this Mr. Wallace started breeding some Boomerang dogs (i think i read this in an old mag, but not sure). His original line though was mainly lightner shipley/cocoran blood.

    Richard Stratton tried to perpetuate the wallace line with two half Wallace dogs which he then bred to ofrn dogs. I have only seen Stratton dogs in peds a couple of times. Anyone know the quality of Mr. Strattons breeding efforts?

    riptide dogs are stratton's. he didnt breed that much, but what he was working with were deff quality animals, no doubt about it.
