Could someone please help me. I bought another pit about 6 months ago. I have owned pits all of my life. I have had 7 to be exact. However, the latest addition, Remy, is by far the best looking dog I have ever owned. My question is how do I determine the bloodline of her? I can post a pic for anyone who thinks they could help. She is a blue fawn red nose and all together gorgeous with perfect form and build. Someone let me know if you can help...

Your breeder is the one who should have the answers to which you seek. Pictures are not going to tell you anything...its just going to be a dog in a photo. A pedigree is about the only thing that will allow us to answer you other than that....it really falls on the shoulders of your breeder to know what it is that he /she bred.

You cant tell a dogs bloodline by looking at a picture. You need a pedigree.

Probably what they are are blue dogs that are so pale (dilute) that there is very little pigment in the nose leather and they appear pinkinsh...

Hi Remy Maybe I can help you out... If you bought the dog from a reputable breeder they should have provided you with paper's from a reputable registry like the ukc/adba/akc if you never received paper's from the breeder there is no way to tell if your dog is pure bred or what bloodlines your dog stems from this is what the pedigree is for if you have papers all you need to do is fill them out and send them in to order a copy of your dogs pedigree. Once you have that someone here can better assist you. Without the pedigree unfortunately you have no way to determine bloodline or purity. As far as the color goes it's Ok people make mistakes about these things technically there is no such thing as a rednose blue fawn genetically it is not possible. If you post your dogs picture I will tell you what color your dog is. My guess is your dog is a blue fawn and may have a lighter pink nose due to lack of pigment but unless I see the dog I can't tell you for sure. When you have time please post up your dogs pic and I will help you in anyway I can:)
