If the USMC was "taking care of business" they would have given that heartless POS a dishonorable discharge!

    I second that TJPITBULL.................

TCARTER: I read all of your other stuff. Very interesting. I know nothing about IRAQ and the military, just what I see on TV. Someone on that board said something about him being 'bored'. I am sure the thousands of others that are over there are 'bored' at times, but they're not filming themselves throw a helpless puppy off a fu$king cliff!

It is messed up what the guy did, but did you guys watch the news video? People are calling his house threatening his life and his families life. That just isn't right. A human should never be physically hurt or killed over an animal.

I'm not too worried about the the death threats to him..that devil dawg can handle him self

I know he can handle himself, but I still think it's wrong for them to even make them, especially against his family. It's not like it was a family reunion and they were all throwing puppies off a cliff.
Plus I have more of a problem with people making death threats to a human, then I do with the guy killing a puppy.

Hyperthetical, what if the puppy was one of your dogs, would you have a different opinion on the matter ?

I know that is not the case however I just wanted to see if your opinion changes.

What he did was wrong and sadistic, no one should kill a puppy just for kicks. If it must be done then by all means do it humanely. He was a dumbass who had it on Youtube, how else did he expect the general public to take it ? You reap what you sow.

I agree with him getting punished. That is not my problem with it. He deserves to be kicked out of the Marines, because he doesn't hold up to what it takes to be one. I have no respect for the guy. However, I don't want his family or him physically hurt over it.

If it was my pup, then I would probably be pretty dang mad and there would be a chance I would be driven to try to hurt the person. However, it doesn't mean I have the right to hurt that person. Like you said, you reap what you sow, so, if I did hurt that person, I would, also, deserve whatever assault charges I may receive.

A question back at you and most of the group, if this was a kitten/cat being thrown off the cliff would you feel as angry? As bad as it sounds, I wouldn't. I would still think he was wrong, but I wouldn't be as angry about it.

Man to be honest if he didn't tape it we wouldn't have known hell he could have pushed a cow off the ledge i wouldn't care at all. He does deserve to be punished but kicked out i don'tthink so if a buddy would have told on him he would be just punished but he is only getting stronger punishment due to the lime light it is sitting in!!! I don't think he would have done that to a pup over here in the US. Over there it's kinda a no hose bared world besides the fact that the USA has rules to War.

I would still be upset even though I really hate cats. Its not the dog or cat itself it was the unecessary cruelty of it all that bothers me. I am not cool with people being cruel to a completely defenseless animal of any kind for no reason but self enjoyment. People like that have serious mental issues and I have no use for people like that.

Hunting and game is a little different, atleast there is a purpose. Honestly what sporting chance did the puppy have or a kitten for that matter ? The answer is zero-none and thats what makes me discusted with this young man.

I am not saying he should die for it, if it was my own personal dog then there would be no question that the law would fall into my hands. I have gone to jail for less meaningful things , it would be a breeze going for something I felt justified about.

Being a Marine myself. There is noway to justify what he did:mad:. NOT FUCKIN BOREDOM, NOT ANGER, NOT HAVING TO BE HEARTLESS OR RUTHLESS BECAUSE HE IS IN COMBAT !!!!! The puppy did not pose a threat. It was moraly wrong and unjustifiable. In my opinion a dishonorable discharge is far from enough ! But I agree with CoolHandJean. Killing a human for killing an animal is a lil strange. Expecialy his family.

One of the ass-holes involved had a pattern of misconduct prior to this evet and was on his way out the door. He was disscharged. Not sure if he was the one filming or the one who did it though. This shit is not exceptible in the Corps . We are tought better then that. But there are rotten apples in every bunch. I only ask that noone judge the whole Marine Corps based on "Piss-Poor" examples such as this. They knew better. If I was there I would probaly still be tryin to get my boot out his ass:mad:!

Good post. I agree. He definitely isn't Marine material, and how he made it out of boot had to be a fluke, because he doesn't seem man enough to do it.

I think some people misunderstood me. I never thought what this guy did was justified, and I am very happy the Marine Corps kicked him out. The video angered me as well.
I was just angry that people were threatening his family, and saying they were going to burn down their home. That made me just about as mad as the guy's video.
Just wanted to clear that up.
