There's no telling how Bert bred them dogs!
I've had some off his best old studs (Raisin, Sailor, Poorboy)
One thing I can say they all were decent, but I know he bred them dogs to a lot stuff outside his yard.

youngmuscle those are nice studs for sure.and the point i was trying to make is Bull was his foundation dog.no matter what he bred to thats doesnt change what Bull was to Sorrells.

@bamaman, you are right because, he told me if he could bring one back from the bone yard it would be Bull,
He said he would try to eat one.

The question I wanna know is why doesn't the redboy line just start with him. Meaning there should not be a pedigree behind Redboy at all if his pedigree is not correct. I think the only one who knows the truth isn't around to tell it. GR CH 35 came from know where but he has registerd offspring and papers put on him. No different then redboy. All i'm saying if the papers aren't correct why do these dogs have pedigrees.

Is that Pokey? Is that one of the breedings to make the cimerra band dogs ?

    Ive seen one, a male.
As far as B breeding outside his yard, I can tell you he used tight Boomerang and tight Redboy/Outlaw. And B definitely aint in the picture shown above.

Maybe Bert's behind the big old bullmastiff bitch !

  20. Dagos R

You're spot on, ATEXAN. Buckshot was a shrewd, and smart dogman. Every move he made with the dogs was planned. But like the old timers before him, if you didn't have the need to know then he wasn't going to flat out tell you what he was up to or what breedings he made. I like the old Sorrells dogs.
