Hi, I was wondering if anyone owns or know anything about his dogs?

 

hes nothing more then a puppy pedlar.his dogs have done nothing, charges a few grand for a pup whos parents dont do shit. just breeds for money ect. i wouldt feed one if it was given for free.

 

Uve seen them in person or some one told u that ? What's wrong with the "isnot" blood

 

From what many say on another forum he is also a FUCKIN THIEF. HE WAS ON THE BLACK BALL BREEDERS LIST! KEEP LOOKING

 

I had a bitch out of is-not x zipper (alligator/snooty) and she was a good bitch.
My bitch died last year at the ripe old age of 14 and I did not think there were any more dogs out of is-not alive?
I also have a male I bred that is heavy in the alligator blood and he was a good dog. He is 10 years old now going on 11 and still alive. I will be breeding him to our best bitch next year hopefully.
In the end things went to the shitter for those dogs, pups bred to pups to sell pups...etc. But the older stuff produced some bulldogs here and there.

He is a breeder that is out of the game and some would argue he never was in the game. Most of his dogs were bred for money although some (very few) were tested if you wanna buy a a dog with some of his dogs in the pedigree, look into the dogs not the breeder. From what Ive read he is one of the most hated breeders and he is now left with no yard.

Im sorry to say that with the od one ore two desend ones,, all pure mayfield dogs are curs..
Infact never seen a good one

 

Limey I have heard that for a long time now but in all truth I don't think they are any more cur than most of the other lines out there today. From my limited experience with those dogs I had one litter of 5 dogs. The first to be shown was a bitch named Morticia and she won 2 and then stood the line in her third from shock. She later got off chain and went into 2 dogs and got killed. A brother of hers won one as well and another brother won 2 otc. One bitch was given away as a pup to be a pet and the last brother is now owned by a well known kennel who is using him as a stud so I think they took a good look at him and deemed him worthy of breeding to their dogs (which are not mayfield dogs).
Going by my experience then I would have to say that these dogs are just as good or bad as most of the others out there. But the one thing they have that is one of the most important things in a gamedog is their extreme love of work. I have never seen dogs with such a great love for work as these and I chalk that up to the fact that they were bred and selected by a true dogman (Mayfield) and he did his job so well that even bad breeding couldn't take that out of them.

One thing I will say though is,, good luck trying to breed them, I couldn't.

 

I wil telll u that GP. Is telling. The truth about these dogs. I have some of that blood on my yard. And it works great for me. . I personal use it as a cross dog. I will also say if unwanted some good blood for kershner u better use his old blood the closer to mayfield the better.

I'm going to be breeding my old cream color dog to my red bitch hopefully in the future. I'm not too sure what the papers on them will look like because I haven't thought of it much lately but I'll make up a ped for them and post it so yall can see. Mainly I have one family here which is the cream dog and an outcross between 2 families (eli/heinzl) so there won't be any pure anythings being produced here.
The reason why I'm hoping to do that breeding someday is because my red bitch is a good one in my eyes and I consider her to be my best bitch. I feel she is a very complete package dog, she has some great natural air, she is a very fast dog, very quick, she is always in hold, and she has lots of finish in her. Plus she is a friggin' einstein and learns very fast which enables her to counteract just about anything they throw at her very fast before any serious damage is done. Those are the good things, the bad things about her are that she could use a bit more bite, hell that whole litter could have used it,,, and the worst part is that she is a harder dog to work than any other I have had. She will only work at around 50-75% of her capabilities, which is what she does in her performance as well which is what allows her to breathe so well for so long but it is a very bad disadvantage to us when it comes time to work.

And then there is my cream color dog. I don't think I had ever seen a more stupid dog than his sire was,,, until I saw him. I think a brick has a higher IQ than my cream color dog does, he's a one way street with only one lane. But that mutt sure can close his mouth. He has good air although not as good as his sire did and he has that great love for work that I mentioned earlier.

So I'm hoping that breeding those two will give me dogs like my red bitch with the advantage of being hard workers and have a better bite. The reasoning I have is that since the cream dog is a family bred dog it will hopefully thow it's traits real strong and since the bitch is a cross between 2 other families it shouldn't be so varied in their traits. I crossed the red bitches brother back to his black dam out of llantas and this second litter is looking much better than the first as far as performance goes and there was an improvement on their bite and work ethic but the rest of their traits were maintained very consistently so that tells me they are breeding true so far. And I figure that by crossing two dogs that breed true, I may just get lucky lol.

So,,, what differences did you guys notice in your crosses compared to the original families? I'm real curious cuz a number of people have told me already that I should look for an rbj bitch to breed him to but I don't have access to anything like that here.

 

Well GP. The reason I am. Breeding that way is my rbj bitch is the best bitch I have on my yard. She is a complete. Bitch. She have a ton of wind. She is smart as fuck.the only thing I don't like about. Her she is hard to work and sometimes she is to smart for her own good. I hope between. Her and that old male here will be some great dog ;-).I also am planing for my future. BC I have a young male. 10.month old his ped 231706 that is looking great but its to early to tell. He is a mayfield 75% and. Jocko 25%

 

Gringo I would like to see you trying to breed this "stupid dog" of yours. If I recall correct, you told that the one time you did try in the past he was only interested in fighting with the female (his mother I think?). Good luck with him, lol.
