Pitbull terrier births seventeen pups

Didn't think anything was wrong with this at first, till I called the lady about the pups. Then after talkin with her I changed my mind.

She said that her breed of pitbull is so tight, that only her female can do this.

Blues, bluies, chocolate rednoses, what ya need? lol.

At least the vet had the dog spayed afterwards.


Carrie Ronewicz of Memphis owns a very tired American Pit Bull Terrier. Her name is "Pretty Girl".

One, two, three, four..



"She looked like a balloon about to pop," says Ronewicz.

Five, six, seven, eight..

"I can't believe she had that many in her stomach," says Ronewicz.

Nine, ten, eleven, twelve..

Ronewicz says that she about passed out on the vet's floor.

Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen..

"When they said 17, I said you gotta be kidding me. You're joking right?"

The vet was not joking.

The owner says that the terrier looked like a pregnant sheep. She could barely walk.

"We thought initially we had 15, then we counted 16 a couple of different times." says Ronewicz. "Finally to top it all off, we got our final result of 17."

Ronewicz came home with 17, but one died when Mama got into the same box with the puppy.

"She jumped into this box with him and she laid on him and suffocated him."

There are still 16 that need constant care and attention.

Ronewicz has 5 kids to help her.

I don't think "Pretty Girl" could handle any more.

Now, if you're wondering, the 17 puppies born is not a world record.

The record is 24 puppies born to a Bull Mastiff.

Ronewicz wants to sell her puppies (there are 8 boys and 8 girls).

 

Well, there's 17 more puppies that we don't need.

 

Oh she's gonna sell em? Imagine that.

 

i feel sorry for that female.... and the pups.

If she were a serious breeder, that's a lot of culling =o

That is a lot of pups!!!!! The mom is gonna eat them out of house of home tryin to feed 16 pups. I'd have them weaned real quick, LOL. I wonder how many are gonna make it to get peddled????? That lady struck gold with that litter huh????? 16(if they make it)X 100-150 is about $2000.00 for her.WIth the extra publicity from the media shes gonna have em all sold asap. I would have refused that she get spayed and bred her 2 times a year until she died,who needs a job????

Ha...first off i never saw your rude post on this site about "Pretty Girl" & her puppies. Secondly you never spoke to me about anything you posted above. Rude much. All the puppies lived,,got excellent homes and as well...i did background checks on the new owners ,,i also made them sign a legal binding agreement...so i could actually go by the owners home at any given time to check on the welfare of the pup. So first off never bash a person before you actually know them & never assume because that makes you look like an ass.The vet spayed her because the pups were stuck in her horns. I never in a million years meant for her to get pregnant nor have 17 puppies. If i did not love my Pet,,i would not have taken her to the Vet and Pd. 800.00 for an emergency C-section . Also i slept next to momma and all 17 puppies in my master bathroom at night and every two hrs. I exchanged puppies on her nipples to make sure they were all feed as well i had to take a cotton ball with warm water and use it to wipe each on of the 17 pups rear end to go make them use the bathroom ,,like their mother"Pretty Girl" would have done by licking them. I also separated the pups and put a heat lamp over them to keep them warm. So yeah think again before you try and bash someone on a thread you have no idea about. I love the bully breed ,,they are misunderstood and from the way you acted out on this this thread,,you as well are misinformed. :puppykisses:

 

No she didn't....if you look at the original post you can clearly see i am a responsible owner. People post things that are not always true. Taking care of those pups was a very hard task. Most ppl would have gave up. I have a great job. Im not a breeder. Her getting pregnant was an accident .I am also sure that everyone in this world would agree that having a child was planned at your prefect timing as well..lol. The media came into play because that was alot of pups. I worked double time to make sure of their safety . Unlike other ppl who probably would just throw them in a backyard. With that being said,,please never assume about someone unless you truly know them. God does not like ugly.

Lol I gots no love for them it was an accident litters! I'm a responsible owner but my bitch got pregnant on accident!!!!
