Corvino bloodline

Hello I have a friend looking for pure corvino dogs. she told be that Bert Sorrell old stuff was corvino. dog any one have pics of Berts older dogs?

She is looking for corvino dogs that look like Bert Sorrells older stuff when he was living in CA.

If any one has any info on other breeders with pure Corvino dogs LMK asap

 

there is only one kennel in the whole world breeding this line? no body has info on berts old stuff?

 

That was so long ago, you could hardly call it corvino stock. My honest opinion on the dogs I've seen so far, none of them are truely corvino dogs, but will trace back to them many, many generations ago. Once the dogs pass through diffrent breeders hands, for so many years, its hardly that breeders line anymore unless the person breeding those dogs were doing it with their only goal to continue the line. Even then, its not the same.

 

Norrod red devil blood's foundation was also Corvino.

and sorrells crazy mary 2 has a good bit on bottom
sorrells boots the black smith
sorrells red jack
sorrells wildcat just to name a few but Bert Sorrells used many lines to achieve his line such as Crenshaw,Boudreaux,Clouse,Klaus,Koehlers

 

I dont think you guys understand what I was asking for lol

this is what I was looking for the dogs he used that where or had corvino in them. I know sorrell line is not the same as corvino line. what my friend was looking for was the dogs that looked like Berts Corvino dogs. are there in pictures on file of any of these dogs you listed ?

as said before i would look at berts site he is asking for 800 a pup but their also many others using the sorrells line we have a few crosses of sorrells and a couple pure sorrells bert used many lines so i believe it would be very hard to find dogs that look alot like the corvino stuff he used back in the day do you have an example(pic)of what your looking for and maybe we can help you

 

Thanks for the info I did check out berts site but I only see 2 dogs with corvino bach grounds. I was looking for more pics of different dogs. I will have to ask my friend if she has pics of her old dog when she first got him.

Who could have any of Joe's breeding or heavy his stock because he died in 1963. The last people breeding "pure" Corvino stock was in 1975 and it was Joe's wife and her grandson Carmen.

I had some of Berts old corvino stock ,3 from red jerry all really good dogs. but that was 36yrs ago. No more corvino dogs around anywhere. They didn't have a particular look, they were all red but one was lanky, one close to standard, one very stocky and they all had plenty of go.
