What's your idea of the perfect Pedigree?

Plz discribe your version of the perfect pedigree and the breeding patterns with-in that pedigree, line(s) that are in the pedigree and any thing else you consider the pefect pedigree...

I know a good dog is where you find em' but if you were looking for a top dog How would he be bred in the perfect ideal???

I have yet to own a game dog, but what I have liked from looking around are Boyles and Boudreaux bred dogs. I like the consistency in those lines, since it's a family based breeding, rather than based on one famous dog. I would love to own a dog from either line. Of course, where you're getting the dog from makes all the difference.

    alot of rom,por
would be my choice the more the better

I would take a chance on getting a producer first

then work on what it produces to perform

    linebred of course

I like a tight linebred pedigree, not just line bred but linebred off the best within the family...

A lot of the old timers kept their blood tight and the dogs were still good. They outcrossed when they thought it was needed. I guess you would have to be honest with yourself to avoid being kennel blind. But these lines stood the test of time and are still being used.

Man O Man, can you imagine if Art would have been bred to Honeybunch? Straight cousins from Eli Jr and Bullyson. That would of made some noise! That has my vote for a perfect breeding!

Since I'm an old Red Devil fan I would like to have seen what a Ross' Red Devil X Honeybunch would of made too! Why Zebo x Honeybunch didn't work makes me scratch my head but you'd think it would have.
