Winter weather advisory

Here's a danger I never thought of before. Get this, my brother in law just called to tell me his Chocolate Lab started his snowblower!! He was outside shoveling more of this lovely snow we keep getting, and she thought the pull cord was a neat plaything! Apparently she had buried some of her toys under it, and when she couldn't get them out started tugging the pull cord and it started up! Then the tines started spewing her mangled toys and she started chasing them! Very lucky she didn't stick her nose in there or anything. Just another thing to think about.....

 

Now that is a new one. I used to have such a bitch of a time starting the snow blower when I lived in Hell..I mean Michigan. I don't reckon he thought to shut the fuel off.

 

Big Girl bites the lawnmower tires so when we mow she has to be in the house...but I never considered the possibility of her being able to start it...thats kind of scary

 

man i wish all my junk started that easy....lmao

seriously though i'm glad the dog wasn't injured!

 

yeah, I thought about that too. Maybe he primed it and was about to start it and got sidetracked? I know it's a new machine and they always start easier.

 

dogs do the damnedest things some times.

Snow blower what the hell is that? JK Its about 78 now and clear and sunny I am goin bass fishing as soon as I get off. I just thought Id rub it in. I know yall will when its about 120 and to hot to breath. But I am glad the dog was not sprayed all over the snow. YIS J

it HAS been a great week weather wise hasn't it?? it is a bit chilly here today & we are supposed to get some nasty storms tonight but nothing too major as far as cold. GAWD I am sick of winter!! We actually HAD a winter this year. What's up with that??

 

Nope but thats where my next home will be built.Its getting to crowded in the sunshine state for me much longer. Its all golf and country clubs any more. But it is warm and I think the cold is only good for deer hunting so in the next few years Im sellin out and Texas here I come. J

 

That's crazy, Mercedes knows where the power switch is for the power washer, she attacks it when we turn it on. Glad the dog didnt get hurt. Would've been pretty funny to see her chasing those shredded pieces of toys.

 

Man im ready to join u, this cold winter stuff is for the birds, although ur right deer hunting is great in the cold

 

man, I would kill for 78 degree weather....it's not even that warm in my house right now!!! And when it gets over 100 and all humid and such, I won't rub it in....I actually enjoy that kind of weather. I'm cold blooded ya know, lol.

 

Well If you dont mind feeding a bunch of dogs every day when it gets hot down here lets swap houses. Hell I'll even throw in my old lady if she dont stop bitchin about my dogs all the time. Yis J

 

Yeah, can't work too hard in the heat. Your old lady bithes about the dogs, if it were up to mine we'd have a hundred or so right now, lol. She's got me goin to pick another one up tomorrow!!
