Nature's Variety expensive but worth it. $60-75 per 30lb bag of kibble but they offer raw and canned as well. The great thing is you can switch up proteins without stomach upset. Ie salmon one bag, venison the next, then rabbit, chicken, beef, etc...

Your right diamond doesn't own BB, DVP, or Canidea! But you are wrong as far as the only brands diamond manufactures. Diamond only owns diamond, diamond naturals, premium edge, and totow. But they do manufacture BB, DVP, Canidae, 4life, chicken soup, kirkland, solid gold, as well as others under contract.

  4. I am not a complete pro in the dog game. But I had a new pup I got on TOTW puppy and she literally started explosive shitting everywhere. I took her off the TOTW and put her on some Pro Plan and she looks great now, great stool, etc.

  5. I feed Dog Lovers Gold...

  6. I used to feed Taste of the Wild, but with the Diamond brands horrible quality control and repetitive recalls I have switched to Earthborne Holistics. All I can say is wow! I have a pit and a rot within a months or so both looked and acted a lot healthier. My pits a blue and is super touchy with allergies. His muscle tone has improved a lot also. Very impressed and didnt realize food could make this much difference.

I'll stick around with Orijen or Taste of the wild used as a base. But from time to time I go raw diet. Chicken, lamb, deer, moose, cow, pig. When I feed her treats, i'll give her geese parts and all kind of body parts from different animals. Never any shit containing grains.

every so often i'm low on cash and have to use something else but dick vanpattens natural balance has been getting us our best results in 15 years

  9. before i feed my dog beef pro puppy/adult dog food.. but had so many issues on skin allergies.. and its too much expensive.. so i switched to raw.. raw chicken, beef, pork, egg and organs such as liver, heart, gizzard, etc..

my pit loves it and so easy to feed.. i just defrost e few minutes then toss it to her feeding bowl.. so many good things happen, like she lost weight, got muscular, skin becones shinny, no prob with breath and tartar, poop becomes odorless, and many other good things..

Usually, the cheapest/best I can find wherever I'm at when the dogs run out of food. I also feed leftovers.

  11. Earthborn Holistics Coastal Catch.

I'm feeding less, the allergy dog's ears look great, AND I'm cleaning up less shit so I'll be sticking with it for a long time.

I have fed Exceed Chicken & Rice. I have fed Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice. I now feed Diamond High Energy. Basically what I'm saying is that I feed the best food I can afford, and that sometimes has to change with my financial situation. I try to keep them on the same feed as long as I can, unless I can upgrade to a better feed.

For those who feed eukanuba or something like that, do research there's always a dogfood of the same % and how it;s made for less the price.
Over here there's a cheap dogfood cost only 4,38 $ for 6,6 lbs 1/3 of the price of eukanuba or royal canin and is almost the same and just a bit lower in % as proplan when it comes to protein and fatt.
