Discussion in 'Sports & Activities' started by JayDobermanSquad, Oct 26, 2021.

  1. Has anyone competed in any of these? Any clubs or organizations that hold events?[IMG]

I've done it, it's fucking stupid! If it seems cool to you, you are beyond Nancy.

  8. That's sorta hypocritical, no? You have done it meaning you had some sort of interest in it at some point and then you are calling me a nancy for thinkin its cool. But for real why is it stupid? seems like its a decent activity for your dog from my perspective, could you please explain in more detail?

I had absolutely no interest in it, everyone else there just wanted to see my wife's dog compete in it. Again, it's fucking retarded.

  10. So could you please explain why?

If mechanics were involved in some way it may be better

Seems like a springpole type of workout to me if i search on youtube. Only less stretchy and harder hits on the body. Also i watched "hangtime" what the heck is the point of that?

Ain't no need to keep the dogs on spring pole longer than 10 minutes. It definitely doesn't prove it has mouth

May be beneficial exercise to pulling, yanking, shaking backwards. I’ve back tied them in the past and let them burn energy over a long length tug in the middle. But other than flossing the teeth, not much value added as it doesn’t engage the dog’s brain - or stimulate teamwork. Better option YOU tug with your dog: to bond, communicate/obedience, control, targeting/release, push bites etc..
