Life as I know it is over, Musgy one of my best and loyal friends is not doing well. All the cancer treatments have not worked. Ive been working closely with Dr Sullivan a world renowned bone marrow transplant doctor and weve come to a dead end, Mugsy will be put down tomorrow. My wife is in the middle of a breakdown and I feel helpless. I cant say or do anything to make this ok, I'm always looking for a solution and I think Ive met my match this time. Im out of options. Mugsy was alive and well 1 month ago and its breaking my heart. I have no were to turn. Please say a prayer for him, I feel like he doesnt deserve this. He was a saint, Not a mean bone in him.
The most loving, nicest dog anyone could ask for. Im hurting big time.
Look into his eyes you will see why.

Thanks you guys, It seems just a couple weeks ago I was telling a friend his dog passing would be ok, Now its my turn and I had no idea how hard this was gonna be. I still dont know how to deal with it, This sucks so bad, Its kinda wierd cause I ordered some metal flashing for a house today and a strange male dog approached me and was like amazingly attentive to me, Then it just happened again at another location with a female, I turned around and there she was sitting by me. Its like they know and were trying to tell me something. Am I losing it?

I'm sorry to hear of your situation Trojan.

I have a cat (yeah, I know) who is normally very scared of strangers, but he knows if I'm not feeling well he stays right by my side & will not move, even if the EMTs come in the house all loud with their loud voices & clanking equiment. Bandit will lay right by my side, or even lay on me, purring in my ear & licking my face.

This cat is normally terrified of strangers & will run at the very sight of them, but if the EMTs have to work on me my husband has to actually pick him up off me & put him in another room & close the door to keep him away. he will only do this if I'm feeling badly. We call him our "therapy kitty" & he does a great job.

So no, you're not losing it. Animals know when a human is feeling badly. This is a documented fact.

I know what you're goimg through. I lost my AB last may dur to cancer. Like your boy, he was fine and healthy. A month later, had to put him down. It totally destroyed me. I had him cremated. I still see him and talk to him everyday. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Tell mugsy that there will be a solid white AmBull named Blitz there at the bridge. Tell Mugsy to give him hell.

I'm very sorry to hear it, he obviously means alot to you. It's never tough losing one, but you know you're doing the right thing :(

You'll meet up again, companions meant to be together can never be seperated.

Sorry to hear, man. I know it would mess me up pretty bad to lose one of my dogs. I will keep you and him in my prayers.

  7. I also know how it is to lose a loyal friend. It has happened this past winter, so I do know what you're going through. Keep good spirits. Time heals all wounds. Not telling you to forget, because we never can. Just remember the good times when he was healthy, not the sickness.
