i disagree, a motherfucker knows when his ass cant swim. he should know that playing in the rapids or a fast current or any other dangerous shit is a no no. if he decides to flirt with death who am i to go against mother nature, first off i didnt tell the dickhead to go swimming, so it shouldnt be my fault nor my problem whatever he decides to do. he has to live (or die) with the consequences of his actions.

my dogs on the other hand, ARE my problen & responsibility.

Alot of mofos drown everyday everyminute, a good bulldog is hard to find.

I see this in my mind now from this......"either you give us your bulldog or we drown the girl" and you have no hesitation to drown the girl :eek: you know this does sound like murder in a way :confused: and how could you even say it was their fault to drown LMAO like shit doesn't happen in life that you didn't ask for whether or not you go looking for it or not that's not the question in theory here...so police men and fire fighters take on a job that flirt with death probably daily, should they just forget about one another in the line of duty if it looks like a life and death situation? we know we can't save EVERYONE in EVERY life and death situation but some of you people seem to have no faith in life that's why you rather sit back and watch someone die because to you it's just mother nature but saving the dog is the only reason for life :confused::rolleyes:

it's fine if all you said was to choose your dog, but when you put it that a dog's life is forever and always worth it over a humans life that is just pathetic and sad to me.

 

i think these hypothetical scenarios are easy to poke fun at.
I'll take comfort in knowing "most" of the people here would do
the right thing if they were really confronted with such an easy

How can anyone ever put the life of an animal above that of a human being? For those who said they would save their dog, I wonder how enthusiastic you would be if it was your son or daughter drowning and some guy could have saved him/her but instead decided to save a stinkin' mutt.
.....And this is exactly why the USA is so damned fucked up! no morals or values anymore and the life of a stupid animal has a higher value than that of a human being. 20 years ago this wouldn't even have been a question and should someone be dumb enough to ask it the answer would have been so obvious that anyone who didn't think the same way would have been thought of as a total looney who should be put away.

whos to say that is the case? i value MY life above all others, hence why i would save the dog first, person second. trying to save the person is going to be a greater risk to MY life than trying to save the dog

let me ask you this- if these creatures are so beneath man-worthless and "stupid"- why keep them? i personally look at a dog, esp ours, as what man should be.

i dont think so- you need to take a greater look around you and see man's true ~compassion~ with wide open eyes. man is one of the sickest creatures there is, always has been- there is no denying that. from the days of stoning to the burning of "witches", from slavery and forced prostitution, to the genocides and killing over drugs. we might be ~advanced~ but we are still very much animals. one might ask- "who is really more advanced?"
