Just because he's DA does not mean he's game. There's a german shepherd in my street tthat also goes ballistic when he sees other dogs, does that mean he's game? Don't think so

No it aint a german shepherd but DA is DA. My grandma had a chihuahua that was deadgame if this is game man

 

no need to remove it wasnt shocked by the picture but how young i looked was about 15 years ago good to see has rekindled my love of these dogs

A stafford and a german sheperd are totally a seperate breed? To be on a forum for dogs you must be into dogs surely youve read abit and know what gameness actually means? :rolleyes:

i have read up a bit about gameness, but as you know i dont really know anyone who works their dogs or anything like that

i just thought even though staffs are mostly for show now, since they are from the same ancestors or whatever, does the gameness still show up every now and then?

i dunno man, i didnt think it was THAT rediculous for that to happen

 

There are some quality Staffords still out there if you know where to look.

What Blanco and Gog are saying is the same thing that has been answered in your "AB Gameness" thread. The words "game" and "gameness" are not taken lightly here. An APBT on a leash who barks and growls and strains to reach another dog isn't necessarily game. Thats aggression. All breeds can show aggression. Thats what the Chihuahua comment means. You can only say that a dog is game after he's been down, losing bad for the last hour, and he still can't wait to get back in the fight. A dog can only be considered game if he's proven it in the pit.

Now we've gotten a little sidetracked as this thread is supposed to be about the SBT.

Did heard of that name before think that is his half brother wood's ben ?
But since i never gotten involved with others i can not know for sure if he also was know by that name.
