South african Game Dogs

does anyone know where i can get my hands on a while bred game dog in South Africa?
i like the Eli and Eli crosses, is this blood available in south africa?

Owning and breeding THE dogs here in South Africa isn't illegal. LK isn't doing anything that he's not supposed to do or breaking any laws. This forum is full of people divulging info on the where's and whereabouts of the different dogs and bloodlines and kennels that's breeding them. I haven't passed on any contact details or location of that kennel as if nobody didn't know they existed in the first place already, it's a famous kennel and there isn't anybody here in South Africa that doesn't know about it including the spca. The OP is looking for Eli Eli crosses I just told him where the best place to go is to get them if he wishes to acquire an outstanding example .......is that snitching? if it is then I would be more care full next time somebody asks an innocent question.

 

pm me, Pretoria isn't far from JHB so you'll have to go and get the dog you buy yourself. LK won't sell you a dog unless he met you and you got a safe and secure place to keep it in.

i know Mr Bench as he was the first one to import these great dog into SA,
just not sure if he had Eli dogs as i know he has a lot of the Patrick's blood

There are straight high percentage Eli dogs, and crosses with Bolio dogs, they work better that way.

 

Apparently you musn't say anybodies name here, I made a mistake by putting that info on here and luckily the mod was kind enough to remove it for me for which I'd like to thank him.

LK did a lot of blending with the Scar dogs into his Eli Bolio dogs. From what I gather from your pm is that you are partial to the Frisco dogs, well they are bred into his old Eli stuff.

Interesting pedigree this - 1 thing though Lite Foots pedigree changed over the years, he was first a son of Tattoo x Sa Yellow then this pedigree surfaced anyway doesnt matter to me much but some heavy Chinaman dogs. I saw Velvet for her first, pretty decent lil dog however still think her opponent in the treadmill race was better but she was hog fat anyway history I suppose as she is a legit 2xw now. I saw her son sometime last year, he was pretty decent missing some ivory though but he is and was ready to rumble.

Youngblood liked his Limey x Frisco crosses, they were not that great for some or other reason but he did what any good dogman would do, I salute him. DGK put some decent stuff on the ground, not like his brother though but pretty decent saw more than 1 and he got some wins off of them. Personally not to fond of that Tudor stuff and the Lionel stuff but hey that is just me, seen enough to not be impressed and the numbers dont lie.

Not sure such an animal would be a good bet for a newbie though because of the intensity that a breeding like this will give you but I suppose go big or go home. Frisco and crosses are still big in most parts and some serious boys still do them.

Thanks Shaman. i not new the frisco dogs i know what high drive and intensity they have, why do you not like the Tudor and lionel stuff?

 

I like Tudor not Tudor 2, Tudor hasn*t warranted anything other than hype and the hype has died down and so has the offspring bar 1 or 2 however his got new owners now so things might just change. Lionel was another 1 of this hyped and who had his balls bred off of him and with all of them that hit the circuit I think his only got 1 GL and as a competitor he was always brought in at least 500gr over if I remember correctly, he was 1 of those freak dogs that would kill you but couldn*t produce.
