That foster had a ruff start huh..nice pictures.

 

Yea poor thing has a horrible case of mange. Then it's open wounds got infected. I have had him a week and he is looking a lot better now

 

Demodex is nasty stuff. A combo of ivermectin & new stock should clear it up....

 

He is on ivermectin and antibiotics. All the old time hog hunters tell me "if ya ain't gonna drop him off in the woods ya better dunk him in some motor oil"

 

that first picture is cute . and the 1 with the bottle in his mouth is a funny 1 .

 

Gotta be used oil..shit the oil i use is more than a simple treatment..could buy both ivamectin an nu stock...still under the oil cost...unless they mean black ...he he

 

The rescue pays for the ivermectin. My husband is a mechanic so we have used oil in the shop. I wiped them down today. I will see how that works.

When I was coming up we used Burn motor oil to clear up The mange to Work well for us.
