Discussion in 'Patterdale Terriers' started by Busterjohn, Jan 13, 2023.

  1. I have one of the few offspring off Schaeffer's John stead available to stud...pure Nuttle breeding. He is 14 years old and I would love to get a pup off him.

Thats real old nuttall blood there (Talbot,Treacle etc.). I think there are dogs around bred from a half brother of John steed called noah.

Yes I am aware who John Stead is. Deadgame contacted me about breeding something similar to my inbred Mileo female. If your interested in breeding that female to a good earth working bitch contact me Totalperformancecanine@gmail.com if not I will breed to a grandson of Riviotta's Noah. P.S. I have a inbred female on Davis' & Riviotta's Bix heavy Nuttall with selected outs only through hunter's.

Well if your in the mid west USA any bigger then 15lbs unless built right in the chest they will not get to ground as much as you would hope most of mine are 9lbs to 13.5lbs I do still get bigger ones from time to time. Some imports tend to run bigger I was going to get one from J.P. but most of his would be to big to hunt here. Hope this answers your question Ben Brockton. By the way you no I.M. and J.N.if so DM me.

  11. Could a bigger dog be used for further up north? Like in the northern states and Canada? Or would it not really change that much?

Depends on what hole set sizes are up that way. Coyotes don't mess with my terriers that are out but wolfs might if your up that far.
