Dont know much about the man besides he lived by Mayfields word,,,
and he seemed to have a great passion for the dogs as his husbandry looked great!!!

The cable setups on posts remind me of the best yard set up I ever seen,,,
A sled dog yard in canada that had nice long cable setups on posts
and the most simple best dig houses appropriate for a polar storm...

I also like that Mr.Kersners father built those barrel stands,,,
a great efficient and simple design...

Always questioning things I wonder why he is wasting all that straw under the barrel and in the back,,,
I get the insulation idea but it seems to only be efficient if it dont get wet...
seems if it was wet it would hold the cold as well as mold etc...

I recently saw one of those videos on YouTube as well. Rod was a heck of a guy weather you loved or hated him. You are right about the words of DM, he truly believed anything that man said. I'd probably say 15 years or so ago I did as well. Very nice yard he had as long as you didn't go in the winter lol. To my knowledge the straw is meant to be replaced on a regular basis.

 

I guess reading that mayfield keep for the "FIRST TIME", as you stated, must of inspired you to search for other topics related to Mayfield huh. LMAO......Key word is you DONT know much about the man, since you claimed he lived by mayfields word. LMAO

I really liked a few of the dogs he had. I had a few that came from him, lost all those in 2005 never got a chance to get anything else bred off his dogs after that

Rod was a scum. He was a liar, cheat, and thief. He'd try and fuck your wife/gf. He never did shit with the dogs. He was simply a front and skirt tailed Mayfields hard work.
This is based on fact from many that went to his place and vowed to never return or associate with the trash again.

Good men and dogmen don't have loads of people talking bad about them. It aint jealousy when poeple have GR CH and CH dogs on their yard saying this shit about him.
