    no, how many other times have people jumped the gun and posted RIP threads based off what they read on peds online?


    anyhow, a true loss. he was a gentleman and a scholar, he had no problem answering any questions one might ask of him. im thankful of him for my fowl aswell. he will be missed indeed

    I was up there a couple weeks ago and he was very on point. However you could tell he wasnt doing as well as other days. R.I.P. Mr. Colby, thank you and your family for the dogs we all have today. I heard a couple days ago he resigned and went into a home. His wife passed away not too long ago. R.I.P. Mr. Colby. It was a pleasure to have met and have listened to you the times I was able to visit.

    Lou passed this morning at home. I received an email from one of his grandsons last night saying he was not doing well. As you may be aware, his wife, Marie passed not even two months ago, and Lou has been in and out of rehab since then.
    Two of his sons and one of his grandsons, along with a very few close friends will continue the Colby line.
    Rip Lou.
    It was both an honor and a privilege to call and consider you a friend.

    no sort of announcement was made and that was deliberate. a few that knew were asked to remain quiet out of respect for the Colby family, who are very private.
    sadly, i wish it was only a rumor. not sure how "public" any furthur announcements will be. if i am able, i will post furthur info here.
    God speed Lou. glad you and the Mrs are united...
