RIP Link...we miss you

On June 12, we came home to find our beautiful 15.5 mo dog, Link, had been murdered by my worthless POS neighbors. We had no cameras out, but we know. Link will not be forgotten. We all love and miss him very much. He was young, healthy, and beautiful. He deserved much better. I'll post a pic when I can figure out how to do it.

...first ,,,sorry to hear about your dog....why did your neighbour poison your dog/???,,,was your dog a menace,around the hood,,,???...was he running lose and killed a few neighbour's animals..???..the reason i ask is i had a guy around the corner from me had a young male comeing off age,,who was running around the place,,so the cop's came and warned him on a few occasions,,but he ended up attracting interest in other's who kept their dog's in+under control....anyway it happened his dog killed another dog on the sports feild,and was then shot.....so if your dog was kept under control ,,your neighbour was just a scumbag,,,but if your dog was running all over causeing crap....good for him...so just wondering which...???any-body??yes/no

 

My neighbors' dogs were the vicious mutts of the neighborhood. With no leash laws here, the kids were terrified. When we got Link and he got older (he was put on a chain), they couldn't let their dogs run loose anymore. Ntm, when the neighbors and other neighbors got into it over their dogs chasing the kids and tearing up the trash and a deputy was called out, we were questioned too, and told the deputy what happened. This wasn't the first thing they'd pulled. It's a long story...but I didn't think they'd kill my dog. I know...I'm an idiot. We have a camera on my other dog and I plan to get more. We found out that the last people who owned our house had two dogs disappear after a dispute with them and that another neighbor's dog was poisoned after his owner shot their dog in the butt with a bb gun for chasing his kids. We had a pup disappear when we first moved here right after a minor dispute when we first moved here. Now it all makes sense. I hate that I had no cameras before to save Link or at least catch them. I won't repeat that mistake. Something needs to be done. Idk what, tho. I'm in the country. I'm in TX. Considering the well documented past we've had with these people and the very clear signs and purple paint, if I catch them on my property, I will assume I need to defend myself and my property and they won't have time to wish they had left us alone.

...sorry for your loss,,then...there scum-bags...don't let these people walk over ya,,,do on-to others as done on to you..if there dog's are chaseing kids,,,the neighbourhood,not only you should get rid off them+their owners....don't let it go..bide your time...keep us posted when ya get rid .....good-luck with what ever ya decide...
