Lather up the dog fairly well with dawn dish soap.Mix 8 oz of table salt in 5 gal .of water rinse with the salt water.3 days later you won't find a flea on them.

Thats a pretty simple recipe if it really works. I use dawn for alot of things and it is some good stuff. I have even unclogged drains with it.

It Def does kill fleas and wasp . I have killed wasp with it in a pinch and you just mix it with water . Be ready to run because it won't kill the ones on the back side of the nest .Wasp lungs are on the back and the dawn puts a coating on them which suffocates the wasp. I only use this method if I'm in a bind.

I shot a 5 gallon bucket sized wasp nest with 145 gr .270cal Hornady precision hunter round last year at about 25 yards away and up in a tree. Incinerated the entire thing.

We still took off though just incase. :))

Dawn by itself works well with fleas. It's the only thing I bathe my dogs with. Doesn't dry out the dogs skin, makes the coat shine and also traps fleas from being able to move so they wash off the dog. I could see why the salt would help in this process. Dawn won't do anything for the eggs but the salt would.

AGK I've always been told if you shoot a Hornets nest they can trace the bullet back to you lol. I've had more than one person tell me that but that's a hoke diff animal compared to a wasp.

It got lit up so violently I really hardly doubt anything inside or close to it survived the shockwave from impact. Couple that with the immense heat generated from a fast moving bullet and it's really unlikely any of them on or inside the nest survives. Ones flying outside the nest out of range maybe. It looked very similar to when you shoot a watermelon with a large caliber round. Incredibly violently impact. That round will devastate a large mammal 800 to 1000 yards out. Point blank range with it is up to 325 yards. I was no more than 25 yards. Its highly doubtful there'd be anything left to come after me. We did still run afterwards though because it was early spring so I'm sure there were plenty not in the nest at that particular time. That queen got took though and the house falls. :))
