reputable breeders

We all know of, heard of , or have either been burned by shady fellas in the dogs. What's your take on how hard it is to build a good rep in the dogs but easy to loose when being found dishonest.

 

There's cheats and crooks in the dogs for sure,but that goes with most other aspects of life as well.Just be careful who you deal with.

I dont think you want a rep these days .If you got good dogs id keep em real close.Spotlight aint where its at now days.just my 2 cents.

when i say rep i am not talking street cred or even being widely known. famous can get you dead( or at least yo dogs). just talking having a good reputation as an honest dogman(woman). thats not to say some people aren't haters by nature and even the best dog men have their gainsayers. Just good ol fashion above board dealings with other fanciers and people in general. we know some take the truth to the grave but why be known as a liar or cheat before you get there? I guess thats life but i have seen people's name tarnished and dogs held in question for being dishonest in the fraternity. But I guess some of the best breeders were questionable and fudged along the way. alot of people talk about the importance of the man behind the breeding. But when it comes down to it who can you really trust if you aint breed em?

 

There are still honest people out there,I do know a few I'd trust 100% and several more I wouldn't,lol
