Raw Diet

Don’t have a yard at the moment trying to get other things around me situated, but when I do I want to come back way better was looking to find someone more knowledgeable than me on this but I’m looking to feed a lot better can someone drop a little knowledge on a novice about raw. Looking at going the chicken leg quarter route but I don’t know what else to add to make it complete like supplements if there are any I need a feed plan for just a maintenance, also one for going hunting and puppies. Seems like there’s a lot going on with it but I know the benefits are probably worth it thanks.

Its simple once you no.
but can be quite a mind full when you dont.

Get the Billinghurst book.the Barf books.forget the names of em but theres three.
he is not the gosple on this in any way shape or form.but reading his books will make the penny drop...make you understand rather quickly.

His book is not a tomb,infact its quite small.but explains the whole issue on feeding raw.
his book is cheap.but if you cant find it or watever.....
chicken.full carcuss or leg quaters are a god send.you can make the bulk of the diet chicken.
then just add small amounts of offle like green tripe or harts or livers or anything.blend small amounts of fruit and veg to resemble the gut of a wild animal.
start em on that for a week then get createive bro.dogs can eat near on anything and everything.

Theres also a lot of info on this sight thats better then billinghursts books imo.
once you get the ball rolling the common sence will keep coming to you and feeding raw will eventuly make more sence to you.

Raw is by far the best and dont let any one tell you any diffrent.

However there are many serious drew backs to feeding raw.the main ones being STORAGE.PREP.and just the geral head ache of shopping around for of cuts.INCONVINIENCE.is what i mean.
being at work all day or out with ya kids or out hunting all day,and coming home to feed a load of raw stuff to a load of dogs is a chore..and some.

Less dogs and ofcorse less of a chore.more dogs more of a chore.

Remeber a dog and a human eat rather similare diets.humans cant eat raw but dogs can eat raw and cooked.
