Poop

Discussion in 'Dog Blogs' started by Bulldoghistorian, Dec 19, 2019.

  1. I am out here washing the filters for the koi , and there full off poop and all of a sudden it dawned on me that I have been cleaning poop for more than 6/7 of my live I cleaned the first poop when I was around 4 or 5 I even have a bloody picture of it

I wondered if it was a fetish and I did some quick soul searching
it definitely not a fetish I don't engage in poop type things the rest of my life
still disturbing tough to think our life has so much poop around
I wouldnt want to be a farmer and have dogs

I reckon the amount of shit they deal with is much bigger

    have a nice day

Besides the 2 walmart bags I fill every week with the dog shit here, I don't deal a whole lot with dung.

I do deal a lot more with blood, snot, mucus, va jay jays , bile, pus and basically anything that comes out of any other hole in your body, god made, or we made in the OR. I never had an interest in being apart of the colon/rectal area of healthcare. It's no fun in fecaltown. Nothing but assholes and I deal with enough of them as is. Lmao.

Never lived on a farm. Never wanted to have to smell large animal shit all day everyday.

I also couldn't work at a sewage plant or anything like that. Mad props to the people who can though. I'm sure just like my job is, it's vital yet a thankless type job but somebody has to so it..

Thankless job is a good way of putting it. There's a lot shitty jobs that are important but pay and conditions are shit. A dentist charges $600 for a cleaning looks in your mouth for 5 minutes and low paying assistant does all the work. Lawyers make huge money to defend rapists and molesters. I get looked at like I am scum by wealthy but they wouldn't be able to live with out plumbing/sewer/Natural gas and water. Its best not to think to much about it and just do what you have to do to to get by and keep your head up. You should see how it goes when you meet a girl and she ask's you what you do for work and you tell her plumber. When I was younger I use to bull shit them and make up the term medical gas technician cause I was brazing a lot of medical gas lines in hospitals at the time. Not painting everyone with the same brush though I have met many kind wealthy people that treated me with respect. A lot of them probably started at the bottom and moved up in life from making the right moves at the right time and working hard. Good on those types.

Right on! I like operating equipment from time to time. Spent many hours in a JCB 330 excavator. I have a old 1948 Oliver 77 tractor I use for antique tractor pulls. I also have a mint 1989 internation s1600 crew cab truck for pulling my gooseneck trailer. Heavy Duty mechanic is a good trade. I use to know a guy that had his own f550 service truck and he was a heavy duty mechanic he would go up in northern Alberta Canada and work on Cats and stuff in the bush all winter and would make $250,000 in about 8 months of hard work. Its a tough job at -40 he would tarp the equipment in and run a diesel heater to thaw them out and make it a little more tolerable. He earned his money and deserved what he got. If I was to do it all over again I would of got into something like that. Work hard don't spend money like a fool and could retire at 40 and live a good life.

If you're cleaning Biological Filter Media you need to be doing it with some pond water. Using chlorinated or chloramine water is the best way too destroy your beneficial bacteria and get your fish sick.
Spring is always a bitch when you own a pond like this and I would always be proactive when the water starts to get warmer. Never feed when the water is below 50 and try and fast for a couple of months if you can. It does wonders for their health, longevity, and skin quality.
    Good luck with the pond.
