Pit bull x Akita mix?

Anyone have a picture of one of these guys they'd care to share??

Awww!! I saw a pic of one today that looked just like Mike but he was solid black. However he had a few tiny spots of purple on his tongue, so I wondered if he was a Chow x pit instead of an Akita x pit. But I giess he was an Akita x pit since he looks identical to Mike.

In person, Mike actually looks like a brindle hyena. NO JOKE!!! LOL!!

 

Don't ask me what I was trying to accomplish here. I was 14 or 15, and just messing around.

 

awww Mike is cute. ABK many many breeds can have spots on thier tongue. It is just prefered in chows, but have saw labs, goldens, lhasas, ect that had spotted tongues.

I just FINALLY had time to check out this thread (thanks for the link, Cheeky, after you stole the pics of my dog:p). He has no spots on his tongue, but like someone else said, there are dogs of all breeds who end up with the spots so you never know.

And a black Mike sounds very pretty.

You know, it's odd to me.....my cousin had an Akita/Pit Bull mix. Her name was Kokomo and she looked identical to Mike, but she had a black mask. She was a large dog, and very dog/people aggressive. Aside from that, she was gorgeous to look at!

 

New to site, but wanted to post my pit/akita pic. Max is fiercely loyal to my immediate family, but we don't trust him with outsiders. We've had him for about 10 years now, and he's still going strong.

 

My mother has a pure bred German Shepherd with black spots on his tongue. It can happen in a lot of breeds.

 

My Boy Shadow full Akita with black spot on his tongue some of his pups and grand-pups had similar mark . Sadly hes no longer with us R.I.P son

only if it ends up with an irresposible owner. i doubt these are intentional breedings

 

Many say the same about the APBT, to each his own and long as you do right by the dog who cares.
