Newb here with a few pics.

Im new here. I think this is my second post. I signed up a while back and had trouble logging in so i gave up. I tried it just now and it worked and im glad to be in the company of some very knowledgeable people. So here we are. This is my dog named Trouble, he turned 3 this past June. Ill post more as i dig em up.




He doesnt do too good at the vet with other dogs in kennels next to and in front of him.

I have no idea how he is bred. I was at a flea market and had no intention of buying a dog. There were a couple guys from Louisiana selling pups out the back of their truck in the lot. All the pups looked great but this one looked about dead. Completly covered in fleas and terrible mange. You could see the fleas crawling all oer him. The others had fleas but not nearly as bad. They were asking $400 a bitch, and i think a little less for males. I offered $50 for him since he looked like he wouldnt make it home. We agreed on $100. I had an old room mate with me that owed me $800 so i told him to buy the dog for me and we can call it even. Hes turned out to be a helluva dog thats as tough as a tank.

 

Thats a very good looking dog. Good work on getting him healthy and taking care of him

 

Also, i didnt know at the time about poor back yard breeding and didnt know i was supporting it at the time. Afterwards i came to the apbt sites and learned alot. He was only 5 weeks old when i got him.

 

I think you did a big thing there man. Can't say I'd have done it. Yeah, you gave them some money, but you made a difference for that dog. And it looks like you're still doin right by the dog. He looks good.

 

Thanks. He started out rough but he lives a pretty decent life now. Most dogs would love to live inside but i swear this dog would rather live in the dirt. He loves being outside and makin a mess.

yeup he is a beauty! good for you for taking him in and raising him to the dog he looks like now it always makes it that much better when you take something in that the rest of the world would label it as possibly nothing worthy and you have the complete opposite! good luck with him and continue to keep doing what you are doing for him he is quiet the looker

 

Thanks for the compliments. I plan on conditioning him as the weather cools down a bit in a couple months to see what he will turn out like. It'll be the first time i really try to condition him and get him lean.

he's nice dude almost looks like my brother's old dog and almost the same situation except my brother's dog was our old neighbors dog at first and the guy neglected the crap out of him. So my brother kindly asked him if he no longer wanted him he would take him in and he didn't want to at first, but two weeks later he was knocking on our door to take him he was a good dog lived to be 13 too.
