I know they just passed a law in Worcester that says your dog has to be muzzled and on leash in specifically Worcester. Boston city limits is the same. A lot of the town out around Worcester can be really nice but Worcester it self can be rough. On the news the person or board whom headed up the hole thing even admitted that this although will affect everyone it as a result of the typical lower class thug punk type that is all so common in the city of WOrcester and every dumpy urban area in the country for that matter.

I will not even take my dogs to a vet in the city or a ride thru in the car for that matter... dont want the shit dont need the shit. Everywhere else there are no issues. i live 20 west of Boston and all is good. Only other town that has any restriction i Medway and i think its muzzle and leash also?

I'm in hampden county, just over the border from Worcester county. Southern part though, on the CT border. Pretty sure Worcester itself is the only city around that's an issue. Untill u get all the way east to boston or so.

  7. Yea Worcester is not that good for owning bulldogs.I am in lowell and they just had 3 more attacks reported in the newspaper lastnight :(

Never knew this many of us live so close to each other. I'm about 35-45 minutes from worcester. Lol You will like Athol as far as yard space, but once people know you have a couple APBT"s be prepared for the nosey neighbors to start watching you. JMO

As far as athol and gardner i doubt theres any active bsl laws, but like pp said, they're going to be nosey neighbors but i think that goes for any of us who own pitbulls. You'll like gardner went to school in that area.

The size of your property isn't as important as how it's set up, as that's what will keep your "nosey neighbors" away.

We're set up on just over 1+1/2 acre's but we got a 1/10th of a mile driveway and set back on the road.

I walk my dogs in the evening, and the little ones are "patterdale terriers" or "boston bulldogs" depending on if they look more terrier or bulldoggy, and the big ones are "plot hound x bulldog" crosses... I've NEVER had any of the people who ask me argue, not even the vets. I'll get the "wow, they look a little like pitbulls" every now and then, but I swaer that little white lie keeps the neighbors out of your bussiness.

Keep the dogs decently trained and quiet, and you can keep the "window watchers" away.
