Does anybody know in what country's dogfighting is legal or where I can go to find that out? I intend to get an XL/Catchweight Gamebred dog and win where it's legal. Thank you!

What spurred your interest in these dogs? We’re you mowing your lawn one day and said “I’d like to get an XL game pit and start rolling him on the weekends”? I mean, just seems a little odd. The more I read here, the more I realize unless you’ve had one of these dogs- you’ve got no idea what you’re getting yourself into. I accidentally got into them and was more or less forced to learn the hard way. It came with a bunch of dead dogs, cats, and everything in between. I mean, kennels destroyed, houses destroyed, vet bills beyond my belief. I could go on forever. But, that was 20 years ago. Now I read what all the old timers have to say about conditioning/feeding/training because pit dogmen are the best, and arguably a few DS/Malinois guys. Game bred dogs are assholes and unless you’re committed 100% you’re going to have major problems. Walking down the street and your dog is on a leash and smokes the neighbors Akita crushing it’s vertebrae….big problem. Sure maybe you’re found not guilty because your dog was controlled, but it’s no surprise when poison gets tossed in your yard, and you’ve got an expensive vet bill followed by a dead dog. Bears- attacks em. Porcupines- attacks em. Brothers sisters fathers mother all on the hot list. I just don’t get it. Once again I’ll say unless you’re doing game dog thing- you don’t need a game dog. But, you seem very bot like so maybe I just wasted 3 minutes of my time. Either way- done dropping the Cosby’s off at the pool.(just a saying folks)

Yes I've owned three APBT's. My Male I rolled several times and yes he was a pain in the ass. My parents forced me to get rid of him (I was 17 when I got him). Most of the stuff you said you've been through so have I. I also associated with plenty of Dogmen as well. Thank you for you concern!

Damn, well, it means your one of several who can't see photos on here. I'd tell you it'll get fixed but I been saying that for 2 years and it isn't so......

The legal areas are north western part of Africa, Asia and a small part of Russias southeastern border areas. Also a sliver of the middle east.

 

I just find that a bit interesting because if you’re associated with some old heads than you’d know exactly where to get what you’re looking for. I live in the northeast and know a handful of guys with the hardest dogs I’ve ever met. 70-80 lbs and “game” as they come for what that’s worth. I’m not in the business of name dropping and this platform is just for fun, but I can tell you it would be the last place I’d look for info on finding a dog.

 

Recall the Times the breeder of dbl Gr CH Otto ( Keystone) offered me to buy him when he was a pup, the same with Burton's Ch Largo, could buy him for a reasonable amount but rejected both offers as they were tot BIG in my thoughts. Not long after I realised how I missed out on a great deal. Going to Japan to fight the Tosa? How to transport your dog back into your own country!? And what about the travelling expences? The wager,. The hotel and so on , LOL. Dogfighting is illegal in almost the entire world and a public messageboard is not the place to ask what you are asking @Josh Denhalter

Maybe I'm a bit less scrutious as I'm getting older but I honestly don't see anything wrong with the thread so far. Just a simple question on where the sport is still legal. Nothing illegal about that. As long as it stays there I don't have an issue with this topic. Just don't any of yous in the countries it's illegal sell the guy a dog knowing what its purpose would be ( That is a federal felony so keep that in mind if your in the USA). Other than that everything so far posted is protected by the 1st amendment of the constitution. Thank Bob Steven's for that....

 

My problem is him making the same ignorant thread over and over, this isn't the only one he's made. I agree with Michele, one more time and I'll have him gone. I'm all for the stupid shit everyone knows that, but he may have to go.
