Keep Breeding them BIG AND BLUE!!

I know everyone is coming here to flame me hard but listen to my reasoning. I was watching a program and it showed a pit bull show. Now you can tell it was for these "NEW" pit bull breeders because the dogs were too big and too stocky. All of them had cropped ears and they look like what the general public thinks a pit should look like. When I was watching this I was thinking these dogs look like a different breed. So if these "NEW" pit bull breeder keep breeding these fat dogs that can barely move then the REAL pit bulls won't look like pit bulls to the general public. And maybe REAL pit bull owners can have a little peace

 

Shit, this theory just might work...........lmao.

 

Aren't the real pit bulls the ones that are blue and big (200+ lbs.)????

What is the deal with the Gotti line? Is it a proven line or did they just choose a "cool" name?

 

Peace, peace...wonderful peace...Yes, I have that wonderful Peace..but, as for these dogs..Wow..they are so big, so blue..so so so EXPENSIVE..are they made of GOLD or something..LOL...

 

I think they are just Big,Blue and low to the ground which is something these people breed for. Go figger???????

 

I really don't beleive Gotti, his brother, and 3 pups are worth that much. I 'd love to see one of those dog's try to catch a hog. Yhe hog would probably think the dog is a cousin of his(pot bellied pig)

 

LOL..there's a blue dog named Lobo that looks like a Mastiff morethan a APBT

The guy sells his pups for 3,000 dollars and the dog has never shown a or done anything to credit the price

but people buy these dogs then turn around and breed and sell their pups for 3,000
(Lobo is from the Gotti line)

The theroy they give is this :: the higher the price of a pup, the "better" taken care the sire and dam , better raised, etc etc are and the people that pay the $$$ are going to care for the dog better and on and on..that they are less likely to fight the dogs or abuse them because they have so much invested.

I've also heard them say that to them, this is what a APBT is supposed to be and that they can hang with the little dogs .. that the little dogs are ratty

Gotti was a FREAK he just showed up one TIME......but you know what the deal is.......they charge SO MUCH for his pups or EVEN dogs that have him in their PED....you look at GOTTI and you see a monster of a dog....you look at his offspring.......BLAH.......their just fansy backyard bred dogs .....nothing more nothing less.......anyways.....i like the way the dogs look......BUT if they want to get away from the "PITBULL" image then they need to rename their breed......WE DID....lol.......GAMEDOGS....lol.......they should just calll them what they look like BLUEBEARS......lol

 

Come on guys,quit dogging on the blue dogs.I understand the matter of size to ya'll but what does blue have to do with it?I have a Chocolate female that is big.I have a champagne blue male that is game weight.He was bred that way, and he can still hang.He was catching shoats at 16 weeks old.I know everybody has their opinion,but don't put two things together that don't mean anything.

that is a good looking dog, i have seen some pretty blues myself

 

it isnt so much the color or size of the dog we're discussing..its the REASON the dogs are bred and the image they promote. If someone wants to breed them big, blue, purple, oragne or white with pink polka dots thats fine and dandy..but the darn dogs better earn the right to breed first and not just be bred to promote an IMAGE. A real good way to ruin a beed is to put color os size or a particular look first .. (check out most of the AKC breeds)

I've seen alot of good looking UKC show dogs come down from Gotti's line and many alos do fairly well in weight pulling. Now many may not think thats the "right" way to prove a dogs worth but its better than doing nothing at all..

These big dogs also help promte a negative image (hmm..big, over muscled bound pit bulls. Hmmm .. )

I have nothing against big dogs or blue dogs personally. I own a 80 pound dog and previously had a 95 pound dog.. I also own a female (who earned the right to breed) who's dam was a blue dog and also earned the right to breed

 

Yea that will be tight if that would happen

 

hello friends, I am from argentina, and I'am new in the forum, concerning this blue pits, I breed game dogs, the real pitbull dog, and those how breed them selecting the dog's color are really doing a huge damage to the breed. only the ones how are too stupid ore sell pups for the living buy these dogs. I wouldn't take one even if it was a gift.

They also breed them short and stocky w/ extra large heads.........But I gotta say the prices they come up with are plain crazy.......You could get a car with that money.......

 

here here my pits are ch, tt ,tc ,ace and none of them look like these monster getto breeds that people pay so much money for thay look like the ADBA AMD UCK STANDERD a pit is a medium sized dog males 60 to 80 lbs and females 35 to 60 lbs and fit not bulk. mabye all us real APBT lovers and onwers should just start a new breed and call them AMBT (american made bull terriers )
