Oddbod did foul out he admitted as much to me. But what may have altered to ref’s opinion is that Odd also said he also claimed a foul since Solo was more focused on playing to the crowd and not handling his dog when he could’ve and a few opportunities to do so were missed, which peeved of OB just a touch.

Just goes to show theres two sides to every story ... when i first got told that oddbod sparked the lad out and kicked his bitch i thought bang out of order that mind ! ... but if the lad was playing to the crowd and never got a handle as soon as he could then no wonder john lost the plot

Just a guess but I was at Oddbods a few weeks after this happened and everyone was talking about it and joking and piss taking and I think that was 2005 maybe 2004 unless John had slapped someone else about whilst busy with the dogs and that's highly likely.

And bottom line is solo had it comin he landed at the race pissed and still had a can of beer during the race.
Violet was getting plastered and that is when things started getting messy solo was to busy playing the joker and missed a few handles after a turn was called on violet.
He then made the deadly mistake of trying to take the piss with O.B and then it was game over.
Violet NEVER got kicked and another lad stepped in and and the race was stopped.
Violet was starting to get ahead slowly but surely and solo thought let's act clever but his mistake.

 

Woodsy a bit of advice mate history has a nasty way of repeating itself in the dog game you need to calm the fuck down.
If you knew odd bod good for you but mate there are still people around from them times .

I just thought of another two black dog's but I'm gonna shut up about them before I piss off all the owners of black dog's lol. I would still not let this stop me from having a black dog. I would just keep on top of them be firm but fair and just keep a close eye on them. It's a bit like I'm always cautious with white pitbulls because of the deaf ones that pop up from time to time.
Something else that maybe worth considering if you decide to keep a nasty people mean dog is that dogs copy each other when in kennels near each other. My pits had a lot more manners when they were brought up round my spaniel years ago and they passed those traits on from dog to dog up until my current dogs. I always try and enter my hunting dogs with a good experienced dog for them to copy. The last thing you need is your young prospective dogs copying some unsafe man eater.

 

According some prominent breeders Hollingworth RIP and Chico Lopez are black dogs curs. Each dogman/breeders have his own aproach how to bred them. Color doesn't matter character does, just don't bred a manbiter into your dogs as it don't belong in the breed IMO. Plenty of other breeds around for those kind of jobs.
