if you could breed to two great dogs would you in the same heat i have been pondering this would it give u less quality in the over all %s or is it more like im thinking kill two birds with one stone and dna the litter

lets just to get convo going say u have a old stud that you we worried has low sperm this will be another way to increase your chances at having pups alone

I used to think this wasn't possible but I have seen it happen before in mixed breed dogs. A boxer bred a retriever/pointer mix and so did a bichon/terrier mix. The litter had seven pups that were big and looked like boxer lab mixes. It also had three smaller curly haired pups. Neat as hell. Interesting question, I wouldn't do it I would want to see the full potential of the litter from just the two parents.

With dna isnt that still possible ?
    In just one litter

Yes, it can be done. From what I know about it you DNA the litter, and when the results come back you'll have the breakdown of who belongs to who. Now, I've never done it, just how it was explained to me. So as long as my understanding is correct, then yes it's like killing 2 birds with one stone.

sounds like a lotta headaches involved... just run a sperm count on the dog and be dont with it......

True. I wouldn't do it, but I can see where it could be utilized. Sometimes things come about and situations dictate the logic. Seems as if the deeper we get into these dogs, the more we find out hardly anything is cut and dry anymore.

Forgot to mention the only hassle I can see is the using DNA kit, waiting for results. The REAL worry I see is trustingt he results have been vetted correctly.

laced only headache i can fathom is dna waiting resultants and even with sperm count if its low there no telling if u will have pups or not so why not maybe use two studs and kill one bird two stones if a situation like that happened just interesting convo imo

If the question is using two sires in one litter is possible,Yes...If your lucky and the breeding(s) work as well as nicks, than you DNA test to save money. You only need one of the sires DNA and its potential offspring DNA to make a match or illiminate him being the sire making the other one the dad.
If you have the money,a old bitch or one on loan would also be good reasons for such a breeding. Most likley a third or forth might be worthy of the DNA test...Your pups might grow to have some abandoment issues, with the results if the dna test on some jerry springer shit...

Another situation where this could be useful is in saving time. If you wanted to breed to males to one female eventually you could do it in one breeding but obviously dna would need to be done.

I cansee this now......a bunch of owners on Maury with their dogs, and 1Xw Red Dog you ARE NOT the sire, the bitch runs off stage barking and howling, LMFAO!

I would do it but I don't sell puppies. If I did sell pups I would be honest with the potential buyer. If I did this on one of my litters I would not worry about DNA until the dogs had proved there worth. Then I would DNA the dogs that were still here.

I know some think they could tell based on looks alone but I would not go for that

Why not put the dog with age or low sperm count on
Sperm up ? so you could increase your odds I know
Of a few people who used it and got pups with using
It before using it the dog was shooting blanks !

I've used tribulus-Dhea with a good degree of success. You'll also find it in sperm up.
