I don't think that anybody said that you fought dogs, they just stated that talking about things like that leads (like law enforcement) to believe that you either do participate in it, or have an interest/encourage it.
People here are really secretive about their dogs, a lot of Pit Bull owners are, they don't want to be wrongly accused of dog-fighting and have their dogs taken away. If you don't fight your dogs, there's no reason for anybody to believe otherwise (unless of course, they're law enforcement and believe that a legitimate training tool like a carpet-mill is dogfighting paraphernalia.. which I find ridiculous.).
People here are just advising you to not use words that would lead people to believe you do these things, because that's how people get in trouble with the law.

 

It is not against the law in Michigan to own a treadmill.
There is not anyone in Motown who is old school which I don't know.
I've have known them all!

Tell me about it, I'm witnessing this shit right now. Nothing related to dog-fighting, but a vindictive ex-bitch who reported a friends dog to the city as a "vicious Pit Bull". The dog has never bitten anybody or acted aggressive to anybody or anything, but he's being removed and PTS.
Never fucking trust people if you have Pit Bulls, it takes ONE jealous, bitter person wanting "revenge" on you and they're falsely labeling your dogs as vicious or you as a dogfighter simply because of the breed you own.

Yeah I feel you. if my mind ever starts to drift I just remember how cool my girl is with the dogs. I figure you you have one who is 100% down with whatever you prob shouldn't risk losing that when you have no clue what the next one is gonna be like.

 

It is applied in every case when there is arrest for Intent.
It isn't used in a percentage bases of a pedigree, it can be 1 dog or dogs who have the signs they have been used for it.

if they have CHF? The older people laughed.
I also told the history of the treadmill, who used them, why, patton owned by, etc.
Threadmills are sold in AKC Gazette.
Animal control won't get a warrent for arrest with just a threadmill alone.
