    No Mikem, I don't/
Tyson was from an accidental breeding between the owners of an American Pit, and the neighbors backyard Pit Bull.

  4. All of you guys should be ashamed, your going to get this girl hurt. Break Sticks? On a 70 pound cur? Who's getting in fights with mix breed dogs; Not to mention the other female that he's fighting looks to be a GSD/Chow mix who she admits is already snapping.

He's getting into fights on lead? Why are you walking a DA dog around an area where it's likely to meet other dogs?

Any cur that's turned before the 9 month mark raises serious doubts in my mind.

Young lady, and I know this isn't the popular opinion in this thread but I'd suggest you look for someone who's better equipped to handle this animal.

Who said I was walking my DA dog around an area where there are other dogs? I didn't. Exactly. When my dog is off it's chain, I have him on a lead- in my yard. The times he has gotten in fights with other dogs, other than when he was 9 months and fought with my Shepherd, were in my back yard. It's not very likely he will come across another dog, unless my neighbors feel brave and let their Husky out side, which they don't know how to keep their dogs contained. They open the door and the dog walks wherever he pleases, until he comes inside our property and gets a bb in his rear end or if it just so happens and I have Tyson off-chain//on-lead and my Dad's not around at that time to help me with him.
So,why am I walking a DA dog around an area where he's likely to meet other dogs? I'm not.
The question is; why do people have to feel that they can let their dog/dogs run wherever they want?

    And when you said---
Any cur that's turned before the 9 month mark raises serious doubts in my mind.
To tell you the honest truth without sounding rude, isn't really possible, but what the hell; I don't care what comes into your mind. ;)
And what do you mean 'turned'? After he and my Shepherd fought- they were friends again, and to this day they can still get close;;sniffing each other, licking faces, ect. ect. ect. without anything happening. Just because I have a bitchy female dog that likes to nip and be in charge, DOES NOT MEAN MY PIT TURNED BEFORE 9 MONTH MARK RAISES or whatever the hell you might want to call it. If it was my Shepherd and my Beagle, it'd just be a fight because my Shepherd nipped the Beagle, it'd just be a little ruffle, right? But nope. It was my Pit and he turned?

Sorry, but that's not going to happen. You think because I'm young, doesen't mean I can handle him because he is a 'Pit Bull'? Well, I have alot of responcibilty with these dogs, and have had it since I was 11 years old when I first got my Shepherd. I read ALOT about the Pit before I offered to take Tyson off these peoples hands after they had an accidental breeding and wanted to throw him on some dirt road. And I come here to find out more stuff about this breed and am asking help on HOW to handle him, and you tell me I need to find someone else to do that.

Just like you said you had doubts in your mind about my dog, I have doubts in my mind about your opinions, sir: with all due respect.
