I'm excited to be here and learn about the true history of the Pit Bull. I wanted to introduce my girl Bree who just turned 8 years old few weeks ago. I bought her off the street from someone that was beating her and yelling at her when she was 4 months old ( 2010), sorta rescued her. Not sure of her bloodlines but I love her anyways. She has a high prey drive ( killed a few mice and got a hold of a cat ) but I think from being beat as a pup, she listen very well when you raise your voice. Never thought of would be a Pit bull owner until I got her years ago. She LOVES chasing rabbits and squirrels. Her favorite thing besides those is retrieving a toy from the lake, river or stream, she loves to jump in the water after the toy. She has been raw fed since 2 years old. I grew up with Goldens and Labs, so she was my first experience with the breed and it sure was a surprise compared to other breeds. She once ran into a horse paddock and chased two ponies around and I nearly lost my voice trying to get her to come back to me, it took me five minutes of yelling. That was when she was a year old, just a funny now but scary story at the time. I had alot of learning to do with this breed as I had her over the years,I really got to know what I can and can't do with her. I don't think I would have gotten this breed if I know about all of this before BUT we have people spreading false information about how they can be cured of the prey drive ( "Its all about how you raise them" b*llsh*t). I think she would have made a good Hog dog hahahha. We are from the New England area of USA. Not sure yet if I want to get another one after she dies or get a Workingline German Shepherd for my next dog.

She came from the ghettos of a bad city with a bad owner. She lives a nice suburbs life now and has been spoiled since the day I got her years ago. Thank you !! :)
