I run Heinzl blood. They have been kept going strong by 3 old timers in AZ who were very good friends with the man. Chances of you finding it like this anywhere are slim to none since these fellows do not advertise or deal with the public very often.

hi again. has anyone here tried crossing present day heinzl dogs withcarver blood. i know that there are some carver dogs that when traced back goes to heinzl if i'm not mistaken so i was thinking if they work now. it would be interesting if a cross between tight carver with heizl would result to.any inputs will be appreciated, thanks in advance

I had (about 13 yrs ago) a Carver/Heinzle/Snooty dog (my first APBT actually) that was to this day one of the most game dogs I personally have ever owned, this dog would scratch into a hog so fast it never had a chance to get out of its pen;), however he was a total dickhead in the house, very high strung as well as a hyper-hypo who destroyed walls, doors, windows, furniture or well anything he got his mouth around would be broken pretty fast, he went through 3 different cage set ups (Destroying all 3 from the inside out, metal crates too!). I just gave up on him becoming a house dog and put his ass on a chain set-up..... and as with lady rampages post he to enjoyed chewing on hard things...his fav was the tire iron I kept in the cab of my pick-up truck while we went for rides.....go figure. would love another just like him, just not in my house:D

It is a proven cross, It was done way back in my dogs pedigree and it really woke the blood up. They crossed into Boomerang and Snooty bred dogs. I have also seen some Heinzl stuff bred into Boudreaux stuff and this one worked well also. Both lines eventually go back to the Tudor's Dibo dogs so it is a distant family breeding and if you know history Boudreaux's foundation is based off of Heinzl dogs.
